One year my Mum was complaining that the Turkey was rubbish as there was hardly any meat on it............she had cooked it upside down of course:rolleyes:

That reminds me of one Xmas at my grandparents. They'd cooked a butterball turkey for Xmas dinner but when it came out decided it smelled funny and chucked the whole thing in the bin. They were very upset when Mum explained that the bird smelled different because it was butterball rather than a regular turkey... :D

We just had baked ham for Xmas dinner that year...

As soon as I hit my teens my Nan decided it was appropriate to buy me fancy undies - all in super static nylon:eek:

I thought I'd finally escaped when they stopped sending us presents. Until the first Xmas after I'd met Hubbles' family and his Aunt gave me a set of the dodgiest nylon lingerie ever... I mean would any of you give DS's girlfriend cheapo pulling pants?????

MY OH once bought me some sexy underware in a size 16 I was aged 18 at the time and he thought that as I was really skinny for an 18 year old so he thought a 16 would be better:rotfl: ( I was actually a size 6 but glad he didnt know that one otherwise he would have been looking in mothercare for crotchless knickers):rotfl:
