  • right Lou - lets talk about our favourite Xmas memories.. not slushy ones but funny ones!

I remember getting a Sindy doll, she was wearing a track suit type thingy, and i think she was meant to be sporty and flexible... well maz the masher snapped her in half within 5 minutes of opening the present and cried the whole of xmas day about this poor sindy doll.... i didn't open anymore presents until bedtime on xmas night cause i was so ashamed...

and incidentally, sindy doll lived a full and happy sindy life with micropore tape girdle holding her tiny sindy waist together for many many years!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • or i could tell you the one about when my mum put my dad in A&E for Xmas, he got 10 stitches??? - erm no, maybe not!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
One Xmas, just after we'd got our labrador puppy there was a major power cut so Dad was distributing prezzies by torchlight. He soon found a special present from the pup - with his bare feet:rotfl:

I would have been heartbroken too at the broken Sindy doll.

Ewwwww at your dad stepping in the puppy poop.

One year my Mum was complaining that the Turkey was rubbish as there was hardly any meat on it............she had cooked it upside down of course:rolleyes:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • eeeewwwwww puppy pooh!!

and lol @ the upside down turkey!

sounds like your mam is as domesticated as me!! i don't do birds! (ooooh that sounds bit rude!!)

  • Well that was a fruitless hour on the phone! Barclaycard won't do a balance xfer to another Barclaycard-only from outside the group! Spent 60 mins faffing around for no gain whatsoever! They could only suggest I xfer first to another bank, then BT back to Barclaycard-don't want to do that as it's too confusing...I'll forget where I put it..LOL!!!!
    Debt-free...and staying that way...

Not wanting to sound ungrateful but what was the crappiest present you have ever had?

I once got a comb and a picture of a cat from my SIL:rotfl:
