thats odd, I received my jeans today after using £10 off code, but on checking the delievry note and my account, they had decided NOT to apply the discount, despite my invoice saying they had.
I phoned them up and the woman checked out my details (btw what a stupid phone system which forces me to speak to a robot!). She at first thought I had tried another code which was £15 off £30 - wrong. After some arguing she looked again and yeh ok she agreed with me - but apparently the code was for something else and thats why it hadnt been applied - well why wasnt I informed!!??
Anyway she kindly applied the £10 discount anyway and the free gift was sent out. But it was a bit of a shock to the system to suddenly find the invoice had been ignored and £10 added to my account without my knowledge.
Today I went and ordered something else with the £15 off £30 code she kindly made me aware of so i didnt lose out in the end0 -

Would someone please help me I'm pulling my hair out here. i want to recommend a friend so they get £15 of their first order and I get a gift for recommending a friend. I have already completed the section to recommend a friend and put in their details. When they open an account online, do they need to enter a "friends gift code" or will my customer number be enough? I haven't a clue what to tell them as I have not been supplied with a friends gift code so do they just enter the "EIR012 advert code" for £15 off their first order (from the empire stores T&Cs) or would that override my referal? Help....!
Too many codes
Thanks

its easier to ring them and recommend your friend over the phone, giving your referral/gift number and they will send her a catalogue and her discount voucher which she can then use online.
the number is 08457 200400
