Empire stores codes?

Flobber you say in brackets (WHILE IT SHOULD NOT) meaning people actually know that the code won't work on these items (SALE) so why even bother to try?

No they did not know, neither they knew that it is supposed to be to "certain" customers, as the first post did not say that. We knew only after someone quoted e-mail from the Empire store regarding that issue.
I do not believe in a "glitch" as someone said. In my opinion it was a wilful Empire store marketing action.

If you are interested (which I know you secretly are!!) I got sale items no bother!! My statement came in today and its at zero.

Then it is against T&C and if you are honest you should report it to the shop and get charged.

Flobber you know that if a code is printed on the internet and it was done by someone other than the actual company there will be T&C and it was probably meant for certain customers eh?
And as for being honest about the sale items I phoned and asked if it would be ok and was told 'yeah try it' So I did and it worked.
At the end of the day if you try a code and it works for you (when it shouldn't) then well done but if it doesn't then tough luck, better luck next time because some will work and some won't it's a bit of a gamble. If I saw a code that didn't 'belong' to me I think I would try it if it was a mega discount!!!!
By the way empire stores send me a code yesterday for free red suitcase and free holdall type of thing with any order so they do stuff all the time. Too scared to say what the code is just incase I get by butt kicked!!! Scaredy cat big style!!!! Good luck (seriously) for next time.

Afternoon Lads 'n' lasses,

This might have just been a glitch because of something I did but thought it worth mentioning. :doh:

I placed my orders and had emails stating the items I had ordered and the cost at zero.:j

However I have now received an invoice for the full sale price and received an item I didn't even order.

No probs this can be returned but a lot of hassle etc for not a lot of gain.

Hope you all had better luck with this than me.

Some of these codes can only be used on full price items out the autum catalogue, if you put sale thing through the computer says zero to pay, but then somewhere down the processing line, someone realises that it was in the sale and you are charged.
