I would say the Radley Purse would be a very welcome gift, perhaps with some little bits from Lush to go with it.
Can you have a quiet word with one of her close friends and ask if there is anything she has mentioned that she might like?
Good luck I hope you get it right, and after going to this effort to get it right I hope she gets you someting equally thoughtful. You can stand there and agonize........

I say make her a pampering hamper.
I'd choose 2 Lush bubble bar slices, 2 bath bombs, a slice of their gorgeous soap and a Lush massage bar (around £15 for that lot). Box and wrap with a bow (or bribe someone else to).
Then I'd perhaps add some of these (2 boxes £15) or these (1 box at £7.95). So we're at £30, top whack.
Then I'd add a magazine subscription (hopefully with a free gift, lol).
Then some chocs and some wine.
Perfect ... and on budget.
Ok, so I'm perhaps secretly hoping my Hubby might read this ... but still! ... lmao!!!

I'd agree - radley purse or similar (ie fiorreli, firetrap, ted baker depending what she's into), a lush gift set and a box of nice chocs thrown in for good measure. Cant go wrong there!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

My lovely dh bought me this for my birthday a couple of months ago and i love it, it is quite pricey at £40 so nearly all your budget....

Last christmas I really wanted a VW Beetle a real one but we couldn't afford it and there was no way my hubby was parting with his new 4x4 to fund it so he bought me a model one and personalised the plate with my name it was really, really cute - quite glad i didn't get the real one as i dont like them as much now - is there a car or something similar you wife particularly wants that you could do this for as a kind of humorous gift?
There is also a free name a star - dont know the link sorry, but that is quite cute too. I like the photo frame with a lovely picture of the two of you would be nice.0 -
For my 25th my brother got me new number plates - not personalised, still my same number, but with a message printed above 'supreme being'. That was pretty cool and you can personalise the message for your wife. You need to take all the vehicle reg docs etc... The message is in little print across the top - quite subtle.Just £10,852.28p to go...

why not try these from etsy - the exchange rate makes them within your budget and they have all the look and feel of designer bags.

I would adore any of the bags by these sellers to be honest :j0 -
in relation to the magazine suggestions... offers for vogue glamour and more can be found at http://www.magazineboutique.co.uk/ if the link doesnt work search magazine boutique on google or the like. The vogue one has a free gift of Benefit Cosmetics and its £19.99 for 10 copies - and if it's like the one I subscribed to this morning it's payable by a 6 monthly direct debit which doesn't come out until January.
or you could look at this...
