Wanted: Wife's Christmas present suggestions

Hope this is the right place to post this request (if not I'm sure it will be moved)
I'm at a loss what to buy my wife for Christmas. We have both agreed a max. budget of £50 (spending most on the kids).
She likes designer bags but they are out of my budget range, also perfume, make-up - but I always get her those sort of things. I dare not buy any clothes for her.
She doesn't like gadgets.
Any suggestions? I would appreciate any help.
Thank you. Ted

Think I saw a thread somewhere with 20% off Radley stuff at John Lewis - maybe a nice Radley purse with some money left over for a voucher so she can buy herself new clothes? Or a meal out?

Maybe make her a 'romantic evening' hamper, with a good DVD, some chocolates she particularly likes (or healthy nibbles if she's likely to go on a diet after Xmas), some nice body lotion or massage oil or foot pampering stuff etc.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Lush have free delivery at the mo and their bath bubble bars and melts are absolute heaven, a really lovely treat.
The massage bars are fab too.
Maybe you could chose a selection or one of their christmas gift boxed.
How about a digital photo frame with her fave family photos on. I am hoping my dh has got me one of these this year all loaded up ready with our family photos on. there are lots about in the sales.Member of Thrifty Gifty ~ Making money for Christmas 2010:£2 Savers club member no 40 ~ £54Amazon Vouchers BingoPort ~ £10Dooyoo Challenge Jan ~ £24.07 / £20.00 Yippee over target :j0 -
How about a nice photo frame with pictures of the two of you?
Ive just done this for my boyfriend for christmas (I doubt he will appreciate it as much as I would though :rotfl:) I got one of those frames that hold a few pictures and put in photos of the 2 of us (some together some individual ones) from a recent weekend break we went on.
The frame cost me about £15 although Im sure you could get one cheaper, I just hope he likes itfinally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
What about a Radley passport holder. I was given one as a gift and I love it.
You say she likes perfume, what about buying things like body lotion, bath gel etc that matches her favourite perfume. They are much cheaper than the actual perfume and gives a lovely top-to-toe feel. Also remember to give her some time to herself over Christmas to pamper!0 -
thanks for your ideas.
We've been together for 14 years. Three presents per year (anniversary, birthday & Christmas) = 42 presents so far plus the odds and sods. I'm all out of being creative so your help is much appreciated.:A0 -
Why don't you get her a spa experience or vouchers? Just had a snoop around and there are plenty within budget. When my bf couldn't relax at work, I booked us both into the local spa. He had a massage and I had a facial and then we were free to use the lovely pool, 4 saunas, steam room, aromatherapy room and ice room and gym. We were there for hours and he loved it even though he is quite macho about these things. It cost me under £50 for both of us. If you look around, I'm sure there will be a few special offers etc. Good luck in finding a suitable gift.0

Does she read any magazines? A subscription to one of them would be less than £50. Buy her some nice body lotion with the leftover.0

I'd go for a spa or experience day, as others have suggested.
You should be able to find something within your budget (also use a cashback site e.g. Quidco and have a look for voucher codes - I've saved loads previously doing this).
You mentioned she likes perfume. . . there's a fab 'create your own perfume' experience day (which has been recommended to me by a friend) which you could check out.
Most of the gift experiences i've done/purchased allow another person to accompany you or you could suggest to one of her friends partners or family member (if they too are stuck for what to buy) to do the same for their o.h. so they could go together.0 -
I'm sure Glamour magazine had 6 issues for £6 plus a free gift too.. I'll try find my flyer for it..
