They are two types of people who come unstuck with these goons.
The Stupid and the clever.
Both are fooled by deception, if you dont have or need a licence they care not, once they get your name, form a contract and get your signature your next stop will be court.
There is only 1 defence, even if you do not own a TV, do not contract with them "agree to represent the person named" by giving them your name.
Do not speak to them other than demand they leave the property, then close the door and lock it.
Trust them at your own misfortune.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

We are only one tick of a box away from needing a TV licence to own broadband.
Folk laughed at me when I suggested this.
But have a look here !

Had a letter from TV Licencing today addressed to "Legal Occupier".
This one's slightly different to previous ones (which go in the shredder). It states:
"We can apply to court for a search warrant to gain access to your property".
Can they do this? Is this something new they've brought in or is it just more intimidation?
I do not watch TV - I loathe the thing.0
