Evening everyone
I had grand plans here but all to pot as i am another one who is poopered. I have been slaving in the kitchen for ages. I mad us a shep pie for tonight, 3 portions for DS2 and one for DS1, then i made tomorrows dinner for us, plus a portion for DS1, so not bad from a 250g of mince. I also managed to use up some veg and mash in teh fridge from Sunday, and half a tin of beans from yesterday, so very frugal for me.
I was planning on doing a big pile of ironing and then that would have been my pile cleared, and i also had some pressies to wrap, but then listening to you all and what you have bought for your kids i think i have got DS1 too much and i might save some of it for his birthday or something. Pretty daft ordering it then really. Saying that, most of his stuff was £5, and one pressie of his is a Disney DVD from last year that he didn't unwrap, and i can't even remember what one it was.
My head is too blurry to even put my thoughts in a logical order tonight, so i think i would be best in bed, and then try again tomorrow. At least if dinner is cooked, then i can probably do at least half an hour of something tomorrow evening.0 -
Sarah...I went to St John's, who took one look and sent me to hospital, who had a look and about an hour later (on a Sunday) I was under general having it all stitched back together! I'd gone through muscles, ligaments and nerves so now I can't bend the top of my left ring finger at all unless I push it bent, and the two fingers next to that I can only partially bend. Also the nerves aren't perfect in any of them with the ring finger being the worst. My poor ring finger is more there for show now :rotfl: However I was lucky not to slice them off! Anyway you take care of your finger, if it's deep you may need to go and get it stitched or glued.
Hmmm want to eat but I shouldn't! Maybe I should just call it a day now.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Have I missed a couple more newbies? :j:hello:
OJK - How did the interview go?
Holly - How's the tooth?
Froddington - Glad the poorly pupil is on the mend.
Mudbath - How's the poorly spotty dog?
Carol/ZLS - you both sound happier - it must be our cheerful influence! :rotfl:
Sammy_girl - hang in there. You're doing well and it will get easier.
Have I missed anyone? If so, apologies, hugs etc.
Didn't manage to walk the dogs, but all other dailies done!
Manic Monday - Kitchen, Utility and Dining Room/Area
Level Three
Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer, dishwasher and cooker hood filters
Extra tasks - if you want to do more:
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps, a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
Terrific Tuesday - Living Room, Den and Stairs
Level One
Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must
Level Three
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is!
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs.
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual try one or more of these
Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc
Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!
Well, I've got a few things left, but this week's definitely an improvement! I may manage a bit more tomorrow. I've been to college tonight as I missed last week and didn't want to fall too far behind, but am very tired, so I'm going for a bath and DS is going to make me a hot chocolate! (He's a nice boy!:p)
His GF is having a hard time again. He's had suicidal texts tonight. She was planning to stay at home till New Year, but she may not be able to hold on that long!
As soon as I'm better, I'll have to push on with the decorating, even if there's only a bed in the room for her. Anything else can come later. She just needs out asap.
I'm off to bath and bed, so night all and God Bless. x

Had a laugh at work today.
A young girl came to me with a nose bleed so she sat by me with loads of tissues covered in blood but I didn't have a bag to put them in. I asked the child who had brought her to me to go and ask another member of staff for a bag for me to put the bloodied tissues in. Said child goes off and says "Mrs B can Mrs J have some BLOODY tissues please!" in front of a class of children. Apparently the staff fell about laughing and 2 TAs came rushing to me with an armful of tissues wondering what the problem was!
Oh that is pure class :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well I have done practically nothing on account of the fact that I went out to catch up with my mate and we were so busy yakking it was practically school run time by the time I got back! Then a neighbour called for a catch up, A & W went to help walk their pup so we had a coffee on their return. By then it was dinner time so nothing has been done at all. Tomorrow I have to go to Morrisons to get this weeks £40 shop as I aint going at the weekend  so that will be first thing as I missed a parcel delivery today and the card said will call tomorrow. On the assumption it is the same time they will be here at lunch timeish. Have been invited for coffee tomorrow afternoon with a woman whose family moved into the village recently, will be going there for 2pm. Then school run, from there to handbell practise for Miss A and from there on to swimming lessons for W. Anyone would think I was looking for an excuse not to flyOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
