Sarah...owwwwwww! Poor you :( I hate grating anything as I'm always paranoid about slicing my fingers. I've done worse though, climbing up a wall I slipped, grabbed hold of a rusty metal window frame and sliced through three fingers down to the bone! So I sympathise as I remember the throbbing pain well! :grouphug:
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Had a laugh at work today.

A young girl came to me with a nose bleed so she sat by me with loads of tissues covered in blood but I didn't have a bag to put them in. I asked the child who had brought her to me to go and ask another member of staff for a bag for me to put the bloodied tissues in. Said child goes off and says "Mrs B can Mrs J have some BLOODY tissues please!" in front of a class of children. Apparently the staff fell about laughing and 2 TAs came rushing to me with an armful of tissues wondering what the problem was!

    Evening everyone.

Well I've done no cleaning today but I have sorted out the loft. More things for ebay and a pile for Freecycle which was supposed to be collected at 6.30 this evening and it is now nearly 8.30.

I have also finished my Christmas shopping and treated myself to some new lights for the living room (all half price).

Tomorrow I am going to fly so won't be around until later on.

Good Evening Fellow Flyers :D Trainee Flylady reporting to duty:D

Ok, so it's been a bit of a mismatch tonight of the levels, but I'm so pleased with myself. No kiddies, but we have a guest room that doubles as my walk in wardrobe :o I completetly tidied up my handbag and shoes section, and sorted out my coats that had been dumped on the drawers when we decorated the hall 2 months ago  It is now extremely tidy and I have 3 bin bags to go to the charity shop tomorrow :D I am going to put them in my car as I know I'll leave them for goodness knows how long in the hallway!!

I am finding it hard work, but you lovely ladies tell me that as long as I keep going, it'll get easier each week. I hope so, I'm so tired and it's only day 2.

Thank you so much for the encouragement for us newbies, you have made us feel very welcome and it is much appreciated :)

  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well and welcome newbies/returners. So far this evening I've managed to do errands and tidy up. I may not be around tomorrow as I may be going to my mum's to keep her company, as my dad is still away on business. Goodnight
