    INSTALLING A HUSBAND

    Dear Tech Support
    ,

    Last year I upgraded from
Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5..0 .

    In addition,
Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9. 5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NASCAR 6.0, NFL 5.1 and Golf Clubs 4.1 .

    Conversation 8.0
no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

Please note that I have tried running
Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

    What can I do?

    Signed,

    Desperate.

    DEAR DESPERATE
    ,

    First, keep in mind,
Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

    Please enter command:
ithoughtyoulovedme.HTML and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.

If that application works as designed,
Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause
Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5 , Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1 .

    Please note that
Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will download the Gas Passing and Snoring Loudly Beta.

    Whatever you do, DO NOT
under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the
Boyfriend 5.0 -program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0 .

    In summary,
Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

    Good Luck!

    Tech Support

Pigpen - if you don't look after yourself we'll sent Triker round to keep you in order! She's right, you can't just keep going indefinitely on painkillers (I know, I've had to deal with the after effects and it took a long time to sort out and has resulted in permanent neurological damage - as well as a stomach ulcer that is very easily resurrected!). If you don't want help from the doctor, then look into the alternatives.

We tried other stuff nothing works.. the gp wants me on PERMANENT anti-inflammatories and DG's .. no chance.. SO it is pointless going.. they do NOT know best.. I would probably not feel quite so chronic if I lost 3 stone but heyho I like my cake and I'll eat it!

If I may interject somewhat.. those clips on dungarees... if you nip them together quite close they become REALLY hard for little people to undo... you just need to make sure that when you are undressing them you don't punch them in the face... the voice of experience.. in both counts!!

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    Level One
    [STRIKE]clear and wipe work surfaces[/STRIKE]
Wipe down all the major appliances.. clean filters/drawers/seals etc
Wipe over the [STRIKE]cupboards fronts[/STRIKE] and kickboards

    Extras - help yourself!
wipe and replace ALL the small appliances

OK, so it was my first attempt!! I did spend a good hour whereby normally I would have just slobbed in front of the tv. Plus, I cleared A LOT of stuff out of the kitchen (paperwork, hair clips, pens etc) that just seem to gather there over time lol. So all in all I am pleased with myself. When the kitchen comes around next week, I shall try to complete all of level one lol.

I would just like to thank you lovely ladies for being such an inspiration on this thread. It's been a long time since I cleaned on a Monday night, and if I follow this thread then I should be left with some lovely weekend time :D

    Roll on tomorrow!!

    G'night xx

    Evening all,

i am in again this week but need to get work and some studyout the way first.

many thanks for all the congratulations on last weeks thread - visited baby Ruby yesterday and all are doing well, my SIL decided she didnt want to stay in so came home last night so my girls got to visit their new cousin and have lots of cuddles to.

Sorry havent had time to catch up here will do so later in the week but until then hope all are okay and have a good week.
  • Toots - I understand what you're saying and I am being careful! Honest! I actually enjoyed our quite leisurely stroll around Abergavenny tbh. I was well wrapped up (not been out without an fleece waistcoat, coat, scarf, gloves for over a month). It was nice to have the fresh air and although it was cold, it was also sunny. And no, not painting, but DH did artex the lounge ceiling before dinner.

    Dailies -
    [strike]SS Kitchen, Bathroom,Shower room
    Make beds
    DW,WM, BM, CM
    Feed dogs, cats and fish
    Groom dogs and cats[/strike]
Walk dogs - I may be up to going round the block (1st time in a month) - didn't manage that.

Also want to do what I can from here:
[strike]Manic Monday - Kitchen, Utility and Dining Room/Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these areas

    Level Two
    Wipe down surfaces
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards

Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, fridge, freezer etc) and inside the microwave[/strike]
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer, dishwasher and cooker hood filters
[strike]Clean the oven if missed last week or it needs it - will do after dinner![strike] Half done - hob and bits. Will finish oven in morning.
Extra tasks - if you want to do more:
[strike]Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms[strike]
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps, a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
[strike]Empty one shelf (or the top of a cupboard) clean it, clean what's on it and put it all back [/strike](did this last week)
[strike]Clean out and organize one cupboard, more if you like[/strike](and this)
[strike]Wipe & replace small appliances like kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)[/strike]

Got to go to town for a few bits, but am trying to go with the "shop like your granny used to" scheme. Maybe tomorrow?

May go for paint for the base coat in the lounge as well. If DH gets ceiling done, he can begin the walls later! :p Maybe tomorrow???

Off for a bath and bed, so night all and God bless. x
