Are you anywhere near the red squirrels in Formby. My parents don't live too far from there, and my DH and I went to see if we could see them a few years ago. We didn't see any but they were pelting nuts at us :rotfl:

Live bout 30 mins drive away according to X. Been though with school and was only person to see a red squirrel, as pointing it out tripped and fell and down a steep slope and got covered in cuts and bruises :o:o

This one in our garden is a grey thing - theres 2 of them... cute at first but now causing problems.. but if we catch them by law we have to kill them  Dont mind killing mice but coukldnt kill a squirrel although both are seen as vermin :o

Holly - our mice are cheeky scouse mice... not only do they come out with you in the room AND steal the chocolate off the traps...they also are not scared off the sonic thing we have... one literally sat infront of it looking at me ! :rotfl: :rotfl:

 Ds1 has one, he usually has it hidden as it's one of his treasures, we'd have to get it out of the house and back in again, shouldn't be a problem as long as DS2 doesn't loose it or he'll turn like this >>

Ah, one problem, this is JUST for the afternoon from what the form says, if he needs to do it himself a tshirt might be more tricky, will confirm with teacher tomorrow.

Belt, my curtain things are blue the only ones I have, hmmm, will have to think of something for that.

THOSE ASKING ABOUT CARDS/COST TO ME

Thanks for your concern but, I would be sending everyone one anyway, sending them all like this will cost maybe another stamps worth, possibly 2 at a push then there is just the envelopes which are cheap. If everyone sends an extra stamp (on the paper) it should cover it. So don't worry about how much it's costing me and just get writing/sending! I think it's just a much more mse way. We also line Royal Mail's pockets a bit less too! Better in our pockets than theirs. Anyone not see the sense in it now? Told you I don't get good brainwaves often :rotfl:

what if i/we put in a book of 6/12/more stamps?...just catching up so don't know whats being arranged and as you can prob tell, don't check e mails too often..........

I am part way through a catch up(thanks Lil_me will let you know) but it occurs to me to ask..

DD (12) is having period problems - lots of pain but is struggling and totally failing to take tablets...clearly at almost 13 she should be able to manage them and I would like her to anyway, just in case sh ever needs antibiotics or anything...

    Any tips?

She is devastated - AF turned up today and a quick calc shows we expect her again on or before xmas day...she sobbed (26 day gap this time). I am not the best person to help her with this as I suffered so much as a teen with pain and I am trying so very hard to make light of it all and behave as though it will all settle...because it didn't for me. At least I was at an all girls school. Like wise with the tabs...if I could get something down her neck I could let her have some to take... I had problems for years ...the pain only went when I was on permanent meds (ibuprofen) for rheumatoid arthritis...I was also headache free for years....

On a more light hearted not I would appreciate some budget advice a a poor single mum...at least I get free prescriptions...shame I rarely need 'em. Now, who to ask I wonder....

    Help!

toochoosey 1 stamp is enough, 2 if you must but no more please! Or I will have more stamps left and have to send some back to you. No. 1 or 2 at the most.

Valli most meds can be taken in medicine form, bit more expensive but they can. I know a woman of 45 who still uses a pill cutter because she can't swallow tablets. I would have a word with the GP about her periods, they will be able to offer the medical advice we're not allowed to give, might be able to offer meds she can take easier. My DS1s a little star with tablets, a nurse spent some time with him on it and he can do capsules and tablets no bother, could from being 5. Has she got a hot water bottle?

DS1s still awake, he's not at school tomorrow however. Training day. I was just going to take him to my meeting with me, even had it OKd with organisers, but DPs said he will look after him. He must have enjoyed spending time with him last time as usually when I say I have arranged to take him he'd have just said ok. Bit strange :rotfl: but not moaning. Going to get the washerload out as soon as it's finished, sort hanging stuff/td stuff, get DS2s sandwiches out and make his lunch, get DS2s uniform ready and get myself to bed.

    Goodnight all xxxx
