Morning one and all how the devil are we??

Had a bit of a funny day yesterday. I was really happy at work had a really good day and then a couple of things happened in the evening that really upset me. It made me realise that I am still very much an emotional wreck however, much I appear to be holding it together.

I have never really been a very emotional person, always tend to be very laid back but since my split I am all over the place and I hate it. I don't like the feeling of being out of control or appearing vunerable to people.

Oh well today is a new day, still feel a bit shakey though but we will see how it develops.

On the money side of things I have made a couple of overpayments this morning and a regular payment has gone out so I am now well over the £5k paid off since October which considering I am on my own now is pretty darn good if I don't say so myself :D

What a big decision you've made regarding your house! No doubt you've given it lots of thought, and if you feels it's right - it must be!

The fact it will break the ties with your ex alone is a massive plus! You'll be able to move on a start again. What an amazing thought!!!

Remember you don't have to spend a lot to get a house sale worthy. Just make sure any DIY is finished, and fairly neutral decoration. (B&Q value magnolia paint!) Have you got much to do?

Pretty darn good?! Understatement of the year! It's f***ing fantastic!!!!!!! WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can thank only yourself for that. Feel proud!

    Thanks Retro :D

Not much needs doing to be honest just a lick of paint in most areas which will be magnolia for sure. I have watched enough programmes to know how to stage my house lol.

My mum has just popped round with some shopping as DD poorly and we have just been discussing what our plan of action is.

Apparently my parents are both really pleased with the decision and are looking forward to me being able to have a new start.

It's a scary thought but one that I know is right for me at this point in my life. It's not what I had planned but its what needs doing.

About time - I'm due a good scour through my Dooyoo friends' new releases!

Well done on the decision to sell the house, although it's a !!!!! of a time to be doing it. My advice (for what it's worth) would be to make sure you set a realistic asking price considering the general climate and lack of finance for most people.

From what I read and see every day sellers are still not facing up to the reality that their houses aren't worth quite what they were 2-3 years ago. For the sake of you making a clean break I think a short term hit is probably worth it to start re-building your life in a new home..

A big decision, but one that I can agree is probably for the best for all concerned :T

I think that it is a fantastic idea to move on, and shows just how far you have come in the last few weeks. You are bound to have emotional "moments" as you go through the sale etc, but this will pass.

and wooooo to the dooyoo review - I've not written one all week, and I really want to get to the next payout, so I need to pull my finger out!
