    Morning everyone.

Edinburgher and Hypno - thanks for your comments and yes I think I have made the right decision too. I know its going to be tough as there are a lot of memories in the house as it's the house my children were born into but I just have to keep thinking about the future.

I just think about me, my DD and the dog all in a new house, debt free and happy :D

Talking of the puppy  I had to take her back in on Thursday night as she collapsed. Ended up staying over and having major work on her. She has a very rare condition called Chronic Lung Worm. She was close to dying but she responded well and is now home with me but has 8 tablets to take twice a day

I love her to bits but she has so far cost me £1000 which is more than a £100 for every month I have had her. Thank god I took insurance out and to those people who recommend cancelling it on SOA don't ever do it lol. I have already covered her premiums for the rest of her life.

Mum said to me god what would you have done if you weren't able to claim it back and even though I am a true MSE'r I said "I would have got a loan or credit card and worried about it later". I know some people won't understand but she is part of my family and I would have had the treatment whatever, I couldn't give up on 8 month old.

Anyway treatment is still ongoing so it could well hit £1500 plus so needless to say things are very tight at the moment lol.

It's a beautiful sunny day here so I am off to find my sunglasses and then me and DD are off to feed some ducks and play on the swings. Happy days!

I am totally with you on pet insurance! My baby boy cat Spencer broke his leg when he was about 2 months old and because of where he broke it and how young he was and growing it cost £2500!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

I only paid £100 excess though! I had to beg my Dad though to put it on his credit card and luckily the money came back really quickly.

Glad shes getting better now. x

    Thanks hun.

She is so much better again today and almost back to her old self. Seeing her bouncing about the living room earlier made me feel so happy :D

  • Oh my gosh @ your puppy! :( It's so good that you have insurance, and I think it's best to have it in their earlier part of their life at least, if not full life cover.

I had insurance on my 5 cats until recently. Now (when I'm working) I put the equivalent of the monthly premium into savings, because M&S doubled my premium AND took away my 'no excess' - so I cancelled! Grr. I couldn't find anyone to take on new cover for my oldest, and my middle two weren't exactly cheap, so I do the savings instead. I don't know if I should have stayed with bloody M&S. My Mum pays through the roof for her 17 year old cat.

Another hectic day in the doodledo household.

In the office today but had to shoot out for a couple of hours to take Ruby to the vets. Although they were pleased with her progress she still has a very high temp so is not out of the woods yet bless her. So back again next week.

Work is the usual chaos nothing much changes there.

Debt wise I have sold a few bits on Ebay so once the monies hit my account that will be going off the old debtski. Need to check my accounts tonight to see if any room for a little payment.

Have been having a little clear out after work. I am bagging up every single thing of my exes for him to take to his new house. In my opinion if he is shacked up with this bint she can house his crap :rotfl:

Can you put holes in his undies to make him look slobby or did he take them all? :rotfl:

    Hiya,

Poor Ruby, I hope she is feeling better. Big hug from me.

Sorry to hear your ex has shacked up with someone else. You seem to be going through a positive phase though, with your planned house move, and you have your gorgeous daughter as well.
