    Thanks retro :D

Had a very active day so far. Managed half an hour on my wii fit although it nearly killed me and then took the dog out for a huge walk. My legs and arms are now aching. I will pay for that later lol

Just made my first PAD and I will do it every single day until that pesky debt is gone :D even if I can only manage £1 lol

Feeling very positive today so will be cracking on with some Ebay later and every penny from that will be thrown at my debts.

I am so determined to be DEBT FREE BY CHRISTMAS :T

Well what a nightmare few days I have had.

My poor puppy has been a poorly girl and has gastroenteritus (sp!).

Have been to and fro from the vets for the last few days. At one time they were worried she was showing signs of organ failure  bless her she is only 7 months old.

Anyway after much money and time :o she is on the mend and back with her mummy :D

Hey doodledo - checking in to let you know that things are all well and good and to apologise for letting so long go by without popping in for a chat :o

Sorry to hear the pup has been poorly - will some of the costs be covered by any insurance that you have? Pet injuries and illnesses can be horrific - operations on large dogs for example - can easily go into the ££££s

Life is all well and good in Bromley and we've been pretty busy of late. I have finally finished my old job (now I can say it was with the very boring Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and have 9-10 days off before I start my new Civil Service role. Really glad to have the break (paid for once), as I've been feeling stressed and run down of late and needed a chance to do nothing without feeling guilty for a bit.

Haven't been very MSE of late, except for the regular savings and being generally prolific on the old Dooyoo. Will no doubt update my diary and get back into the swing of things in a couple of months, but changing jobs is enough to be nervous about for the meantime....

Good to see you back Edinburgher, I had missed you :o lol

Luckily pup is fully insured so will only lose my £70 excess so not too bad.

Enjoy your break and good luck with the new job.

I have just done something that I may regret later in the month. I just made a large overpayment to one of my old debts which has been annoying me for months. So I am now close to having paid off £5k since mid October :T . I am so close to the £5k mark that I am going to check the finances again tonight and see if I can squeeze another small overpayment lol

Morning one and all how the devil are with. Thank god it's the weekend :D

Need to get busy this weekend as lots to do. The house needs a general clean as beginning to look a little too lived in lol and my ironing pile is sneaking upwards again when I had got it under control.

My DD is off to her nannies tonight for a sleepover with her cousins so I will have the house to myself. So quite sadly I am going to spend it sorting some bits and listing on Ebay. I know I should be going out doing wild stuff lol but at this moment in time I want my money situation more than my "man" situation lol. God never thought I would say that lol.

The last week or so I have realised how much my debts impact on my life and that they need to be gone sooner rather than later. So if it means I have to defer a few things this year then so be it. 2010 is going to be mine and my little girls year, I can so feel it.

Ruby (puppy) seems much brighter today. Although the clever little sod keeps spitting out her tablets. So I had to cut them into tiny little slivers and literally throw them down her neck. She was none too impressed but hey she has to have them they cost me a fortune :rotfl:
