Well haven't updated for a couple of days as things have been a little hectic.

Have finally got everything settled money wise with Ex. He has opened his new bank account and I have transferred over all his direct debits for him. I know I shouldn't be doing it but my thoughts is least this way its done.

His wages will go into my account tomorrow so I am taking my agreed cut plus what he needs to give me for a couple of joint bills and the rest I will transfer into his new acccount. Then from next month his wages will go in his account and he is setting a standing order up for my bit. So from tomorrow my bank account is all mine.

Sounds sad but I am glad that bit is sorted as feel I can move on. We were going to wait for the new year but I decided today I wanted it sorted ASAP as I don't feel I should have to worry about what he is spending anymore. I just wanted to know what I have so I can budget accordingly.

So after tomorrow I will have a rather smaller bank balance than I am used to but it will be all mine :D

Not much happening on the debt free basis, going to finalise my spreadsheet tonight with my new finances and my new debts (we have split them) so my amount owing will go down :D but I'll have less to chuck at them  .

I am going to do some STP tonight and some dooyoo whilst watching poop tv. I did write a couple of reviews at work today in word but left them there so will email them home tomorrow.

Need to investigate a couple of other money making options over the next week or so including venturing into match betting

Hi doodledo - you are doing really well. I've found the bongo sites easier than matched betting... On ipoints, cashback kings and quidco you can earn major money from gambling sites. From one site I got £40 for a £10 stake! I'm planning to pay for a dyson with ip*ints earned thro bingo sites....

I did join Cor al and wasted my bet but at P add y P *wer I won £55. :j What I did was bet £10 on L pool a few days in advance of the match. I then got a £20 matched bet which I bet the other way. I still would have lost my stake if they had drawn but otherwise I would win something. PP is my favourite site as they don't have complex withdrawal rules. I won £50 on the b ongo too. It can be hard on some of the others to withdraw your money. If you do win something - you need to still play thro your original stake say £10 and then just withdraw the difference. You might need to make a further £20 or £30 deposit to then be able to withdraw the lot as they have minimum withdrawal levels.

At b e t fair you can bet anyway you like including that they won't outright win - which means you get paid out on a draw but I couldn't work out how to achieve it.

One of the casino sites was paying out the equivalent of £60 for a £35 stake. That one is easy you just play thro your money and your bonus (ie you can't withdraw winnings) and then you get your money.

HTH I think JesaRose can give you a list... if you pm her

    Thanks hun.

I am getting there. I won't have much cash in the bank thats for sure but least whats in there will only be touched by me.

Ex wasn't a big spender but he definately hadn't had his LBM and thought I was a little obsessive. Be interesting to see how he copes now he has to actually worry about money :rotfl:

Yesterday I went to Bluewater with my sister in law and mother in law to get some Christmas bits. I have done the majority of my shopping so was going along for the ride as much as anything.

Was a good trip but made me depressed as I saw so many nice clothes that I can neither fit in or afford. So decided today to stop feeling sorry for myself and making excuses and get my butt back on the diet. I weighed in this morning and it wasn't too bad, actually lost around 7lbs since my last weigh in.

So plan for diet and moneywise is to meal plan for the week. I have been to the shops and got some basics as freezer has quite a bit in anyway. If I make my lunch every day for work then I will now how much I have consumed lol but also it will make for a NSD. I'm aiming for 15 NSDs in December
