Problem is our work is full of people aged from 20-30 and its a gossip hot bed.

Well, I bet it's preferable to being 25 and being surrounded by people aged 50-70 like me ;)

*Edit: I meant I'm surrounded by people three times my age - confusing sentence!

I hate gossips as they feed on other peoples misery. Dramatic but true. Anyway hopefully only a few saw the message and they won't spread it too far.

If anyone asks at work I shall tell them exactly what I think lol.

Housework done, even the ironing  so all ready for a chilled night but think it needs to have an MSE twist to it.

Yeah should be watching X Factor as long as little one goes to bed nicely which she normally does.

I am craving pizza, I am trying my hardest not to go round to the local shop as 1) i have food in and 2) it will cost about 3 times the price of Mr T's.

  • Completely agree - gossips are the worst - I tend to cut them out ... I have very few what I would call 'true' friends now. The ones i tell stuff to!!

Don't blame ya! I would tell them too... eejits!

X-Factor for me too!!! Hope you managed to avoid pizza cravings!!;)

    Hi Doodledo,

Just popping by to say hi, I've just read your diary. I've seen you on BenBenandme's diary, she's a great motivator! Really organised and is currently making huge dents in her mortgage.

I'm a single mum to a 3yr old girl too, her Dad and I are together but we're not living together yet, long story there! Think Ross & Rachel from Friends and you're kind of there!!

I hope you clear your debt and all lovely things happen to you xx

  • Hello Doodledo,
Thought I'd drop in a say hi too...I read all your thread the other day and been catching up on updates since then. Single mum here too, my girls are a bit older though, 11 and 9. I separated from my ex-h 20m ago now and I still remember how awful it was at the time, as it was his decision not mine in the end.
But, I'm doing fine now, him and I get on fine (even if he is useless and can't give me hardly any money!) Girls and I live in a nicer house (sold the old one now renting).
I don't have huge, huge debt, around £5k, but I was heading for problems if I didn't curb the spending and get organised. I now think about what I spend, I know what's in the bank and what's coming out (never used to have a clue about either!!)
    Anyway, I'll keep reading....you're doing brilliantly:p
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Millyscarlet - Thanks for posting on my thread, it's a really nice feeling when you know people have been reading.

Sorry to hear about your split but sounds like you are through the other side now. I hope to be right there with you in a few months. Glad you and your OH get on ok as I think that makes life so much easier when you have kids.

Ex is contributing quite a bit compared to others so I know I am lucky but he wants our little girl to stay in her home so thats the price he has to pay for that to happen.

Quite a busy day planned today. I am off to see my Nan (in law) bless she is 82 and slightly mad but my little girl adores her. I then need to come back here, do some housework, then I have a mystery shop to do, then need to come back here collect the pup and go round to my parents for tea.
