Thankyou Ceridwen and everyone else for all the private tutoring... I have done it :j
Now I can go back to concentrating on the veggies.... hopefully I will be able to be of help with that bit if anyone gets stuck-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Right - I've now got my gardening notes into a form that suits me. I shall add bits that I feel I need for my own personal situation as I come across them.
Its just a private notebook basically thats all - of what suits me to make a note of in my position - ie single/busy/with a positively teensy bit of outside space to grow anything in. But if anyone wants to have a looksee I've "left the door open" rather than making it another private blog for myself only:

Like I said - it IS only a private notebook for me - but I will keep it open in case anyone else wants to share.0 -

Ceridwen
It is lovely and I will be going back.
Am having trouble with the youtube links, which I do not have on other sites (for instance http://transitionculture.org/).
Thought you might like couple of other links
Michael Gurra's grea article http://www.permaculture-magazine.co.uk/articles/archive/article_34.html
and a US urban homesteading site http://www.pathtofreedom.com/
Both these families have over 10 years experience. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Hi
Glad you like it RAS.
I've just been rechecking those YouTube links you commented on - and they all came through fine. So - dont know why the problem. Are you clicking on the 2nd line down - rather than the heading? (as the 2nd line is the one to click on). Failing that - I wonder if maybe its summat along the lines of you not having the latest version of FlashPlayer or summat on your computer?? I know YouTube has revamped their site recently - so maybe thats what it is. Have you tried getting other YouTube clips since their revamp?
But - no problems this end. I check out my links when I post them to make sure they work - and I've just had that further check and no problem.
edit; Thanks for the clips. Have just had a read of the first one - I have taken to getting the magazine - but not got any back issues, so twas interesting to read that one. I have had the Dervaes family as a link on my main blog - and now added their Journal to this one - as they are a very good example and are growing a huge amount of food on that small plot - so a good example. They obviously "get it" as to how things are going.
Anyways - do feel free to post comments on "MyGardeningNotes".
Thanks again0 -

Have you tried getting other YouTube clips since their revamp? Just checked the latest (9th December) link on the Transition Towns site and it works.
I can play the TT stuff but I do get a message about flash when I log on, so I will OK it tomorrow and try again afterwards. Then let you know.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
