Hi all
Having read on this site that Open Office was a good and cheaper alternative to Msoft office, I paid for one year's subscription but am totally lost! I have emailed them but they just email the instructions that are on the website. I have downloaded Ares ultra but don't know how to search of word processing software; nothing seems to work when I input Open Office.
Basically I am very unhappy with the system. They have no phone support and they don't get back to you with any individual answer on IT problems, so I can't use the software and can't get any help! I have asked for a refund but cant' even get those emails through to them. I totally !!!!ed off with them. Does anyone know a simple way of setting it up. I am not IT illiterate at all but it is very badly explained on the website. Thanks for any help. i will have to go out and spend £100 on MS word otherwise.

Thank you. I'm not sure either! I paid £25 for something. I must be a bit thick or have a mental block with this. Just trying to download it now, but not sure if I'm doing the right thing.0

Yep, If you are getting the same page I am but the download is not starting automatically.
The download should be 150 MB (ish). So depending on the mirror the bouncer sends you to, the load on that mirror, and your connection, it may take a long while to download.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Depends how fast your connection is.
If you think it is taking longer than it should then try a nearer mirror:
Such as: select a mirror close to you
