My 2nd email arrived just after lunch on Wednesday. I printed copies of all the pages in case of any disagreements. Now waiting for the money...0

Received "2nd email" yesterday. I never received the first one until I used the 'send a blank email to the FSCS' technique. We had a joint variable, and a joint fixed rate which I'll let run to maturity.0

Has anybody else made their claim and not received a confirmation email from the FSCS? My wife made her claim 2 days ago for two accounts and within an hour or so got two emails back from the FSCS confirming her claim was being processed. I made my claim yesterday for a single ISA account and I've had no email from them. Thanks for any advice.0

Finally I got my email! I was thinking there was something wrong the whole time - worrying that somehow I would be overlooked! Then when I got the thing, I thought how stupid I had been to ever doubt the system!!0

Hello all, got my 2nd e-mail this morning at 09:20, but not able to try and initiate tonight until I reached home.
The site is horribly slow, and twice now I have managed to get to the point where you tick to select and agree, and enter the amount, and then on clicking continue, I get a nice long wait, and then it times out to a page cannot be displayed :rolleyes:

So I don't know if it has taken the request or not, certainly when I just logged back in now, it made no indication that the request had been received, so should I keep trying, or am I best to ring someone up?
Who I am not sure, FSCS or Icesave?

From memory I think once you have claimed the site will say so when you've hit the 'initiate' button, otherwise try the process again. Don't think they'll pay you twice so I wouldn't worry if you try again! When you've logged in there is a 'contact us' menue, you coul dtry rining that number - think they were open till 8pm on Thursday.0
