Well flapjacks and raisins/chocolate it is then,got a box of 48 so will have fun later,maybe get kids to help then they may actually eat it!

I think the Shredded Wheat would work in the Weetabix cake. I used to make a similar recipe years ago with All Bran Cereal so I'm sure it would work. Perhaps use a cup of full of Shredded Wheat as that is what my All Bran recipe used.
You can use SW to make chocolate crispy cakes, like the rice crispy cakes. DS school does them at Easter to look like nests and they add mini eggs for decoration. Their were rock hard though so i would add a little syrup/butter to the choclate so its doesn't go so solid.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -
I use Shredded Wheat at easter, mixed with chocolate to make nests, I then add a couple of sugar coated eggs & a fluffy chick

cor thanks for the greek thingy recipe,used about 10 of the shredded wheat earlier so still have 38 left,going to try this one tomorrow
by the way don't think I will need to halve the recipe as we love sweet things:o

my mum makes "birds nests" with them... same as chocolate rice krispie buns except with shredded wheat...then puts 3 mini eggs in the middle. it's more an easter thing but i love them!! (i'm 27 and still ask her to make them!!)0
