Shredded Wheat

Instead of making a gingerbread house - make an old fashioned thatched cottage. Use the shredded wheat for the thatch!
Saw one of these in an American magazine and it was a work of art.Shame to eat it though ;D

use it in a malt loaf0

You could use it in my malt loaf recipe instead of weetabix:
Malt Loaf Recipe
Preheat oven to gas mark 4. Put 3 weetabix, 4oz sugar and 40z of raisins or sultanas in a mixing bowl and add 1 mug of hot black tea. Leave to soak until the mixture has gone cold. Stir and add in 2 eggs. Stir again and add in 4oz self raising flour and 2oz porridge oats (optional but if not using oats substitute for 2 more ounces of flour). Mix thoroughly and add to a loaf tin and bake in the oven.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
A friend of mine uses Weetabix instead of breadcrumbs in Treacle Tart - so perhaps Shredded Wheat would work just as well?
