Mozilla Problem

in Techie Stuff
Every time I open Mozilla, it crashes and I get a pop-up saying so. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still I have the same problem. Also Ive done a system restore and that doesnt work either. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks. :eek:

i assume you mean firefox, since mozilla is the company ?

Might not be the same problem but this was happening to a colleague a few weeks back.
What's your home page set to? And does it have Quicktime videos on the site? Embedded quicktime videos seems to cause Firefox to crash quite frequently. Can't remember what his home page was but a quicktime video on there was causing his crashes.0 -

Most problem are caused by add-ons. Just download the latest version 3.0.4 from here and install.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Well if you do a clean install which should definitely work, you can then install any add-ons that you require.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Start FIREFOX in SAFE mode (goto START and search for the firefox folder where theres a SAFE option) and uninstall the PICLENSE addon (tools, add ons)
If you still wish to try it then reinstall from here (Maybe your version wasnt upto date as mine works fine) ~
