I ordered a game at the end of Nov, received various emails saying varifying address and it has been dispatched and would take 3 days to arrive. After a week i tried to email them and they just bounced back. Saw same problems on forums so logged with paypal, will hopefully get refund but it's a pain when it's xmas presents etc..
Glad i didn't order more!!! Makes you lose your faith in the netas i thought site looked fine....how wrong i was!!!!!
I have read that it should be logged with watchdog...does anyone know anything about this??0 -
Hi freak
I have been posted on the ukhotdeals forum where there are lots of us who have been scammed by this nasty piece of work. We have all logged this on the BBC Watchdog site, hoping that the number of entries against the same "company" will spur them into action - and it cant do any harm.
Also, paypal seem unlikely to pay out. Happy Christmas!!!!!

I too have been taken in by these selfish idiots, I have put a dispute in with Paypal, I thought the company was ok, usually i am really carefull with buying online. I would just like them to look my seven year old in the face and tell him he cant have his DS for xmas. (BxxxxxxS)0 -
Ordered a wii game last week, all as above, email from Elena asking for address and final one giving info that game had been posted, and link to track, which doesn't exist. I have reported to both Paypal and Watchdog. Why do Paypal seem unlikely to pay out kazzaj? Have they been in contact with you? I had a company take money from my paypal account a short while ago - Skype? How can they take it from Paypal without authorisation- I thought it was secure? Paypal sorted it out really quickly and I got my money back, but I haven't experienced this non receipt of goods with them before. Hope we all get our money back in time to go to someone honest for our Christmas presents. Good luck everybody.0

 Hi All,
My story is the same as all the others - I ordered a wii game from these jokers on the 14th, got an e-mail from 'Elena' asking for confirmation of the delivery address which was followed by the 'Order status update' then nothing. I sent an e-mail requesting confirmation of despatch and heard nothing. Then I checked this site (ain't hindsight wonderful!).
I've also logged the issue with the BBC Watchdog as suggested by others on this site.0 -

I have been scammed by this person and claimed through paypal to received this answer
"After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.
We have decided in your favour, however, we were unable to recover any
funds from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement,
recovery of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.
Please know that we will make our best effort to recover the funds in
question if they become available in the seller's account in the future,
and will take appropriate action against the seller. Such action may
include issuing a warning, a temporary restriction, or terminating the
account. Keep in mind that PayPal uses a number of factors, including
member complaints, to determine when to take action. Due to privacy laws,
we cannot discuss the details of any action taken. We hope you understand
our policy and that it reassures you that you are safe using PayPal."

I have been caught also! I would like to get hold of CHRISTOPHER HOPE from A1game. And if you are reading this CHRISTOPHER HOPE , I hope you have a lousy christmas!! shame on you for letting down so many people!! I hope you spend the whole of christmas day thinking about how many children you have let down!
Had a reply from paypal today saying
case closed
We were able to recover £0.00 GBP from the seller and processed a refund to you0 -
Yep £183.98 for Wii&Play. It puts a downer on Christmas.
If Christopher Hope (not the auther & apartide activist) is any sort of a crook it would be a bit remiss of him to forget to clear his PP account before he vanished. Thus if PayPal are serious about their 'Safer way to pay' mantra then thay can't really hide behind 'no funds available'.
I quote:
https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/cps/securitycenter/buy/PurchaseProtection-outside
"The majority of eBay transactions are completed quickly and smoothly, but if you don't receive your item or it arrives significantly not as described, then your purchase is protected up to £150"
That would only leave me £33.98 out of pocket.
This forum does not Google up if you search A1 Game, as we can't be the only dozen or so victims we need to create a website or better links to locate the many others so we have a loud enough voice to shout at PP.
Websites are not my bag,,any volunteers?0 -
