And don't forget their Gold Visa that they issue to existing customers after about 12 month of good account conduct, 19% APR or something like that.

  • Hi! I declared myself bankrupt on 28 Feb '06 and was discharged on 26 Aug '06.

I have just recently applied for a Vanquis credit card and was accepted. I used it over the last couple of weeks and paid the balance off yesterday. The customer service guy asked if I would like to register my debit card for the future, not thinking I said yes. Does this mean that, if say for instance I knew that I was going to be late with a payment, they could take the minimum payment anyway?

    Thanks for your help,

No. It means that you can pay by debit card on the phone. They will not take the payment automatically; for that you need to start a direct debit by which the minimum or full payment will be taken from your current account on the payment due date.

Where does it say they issue the Gold card to existing customers after 12 months?
