I am pretty sure they wrote to me to confirm my acceptance then the card followed a week or so later. I am using mine to rebuild my poor credit history. I spend about a fiver each month then pay it back in full. The interest is a rip off so don't spend more than you can afford to repay at the end of the month.

From starting at £250 it's now £500 after just 3 of months having the card.

well done thats good. I couldn't get one, my brother hads one for two months. Was it on your third statement or on your third payment, if that makes sense.

Statements 1, 2, and 3 were all £250, statement 4 was £500. Aqua are similar & again i have found them fantastic, they too started at £250 and a year later my limit was £1550 so i assume Vanquis will be pretty much the same.

Well done, as long as you are sensible with it & manage your account well you will be fine with them. ;)

well ive had a vanquis card for a few years now, got a 1k limit and pay most months in full, I never leave a big balance so dont get charged much interest, i find them really nice on the phone and helpful

I dont suggest using it to keep a regular balance but as a handy card its ok

  • Thank you all your great people on this board and thread

The card will only be used for petrol and the direct debit will be set for full payment each month.

If the credit card limit goes up after a few months I'll be careful only spend knowing I can pay it of each month.

Once again thanks for the time given to me
