I've already done some comps today (befoer heading out for work) but have very little opportunity for other savings today. Forgot to bring in the roll I made for lunch but will have it for dinner tonight so I suppose a jam roll for dinner is money saving of a sort!
Boring meetings all day today. Boring, boring, boring.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
There's no hope that I'm going to make No2 anytime soon:rotfl: All this before 9am!
Morning All:hello:
Well I've found the cat to be a more efficient alarm than using the clock, as long as I can tolerate being woken at 3.30, 4.15, 5.45 AND 6.30..... He's back to being shut out of the bedroom tonight
but I didn't oversleep.
Today I shall/have- shed being delivered today :j but already I couldn't move the boat (don't ask - one of Popeye's "projects" :rolleyes2 ) so how do I think I'm going to do the rest of the macho shed-building stuff?

- on-line banking done, it's going to be close this month end.....and sadly I didn't quite clear the 0% card before the 24th November, so I'm going to incur interest on £250, but for only a few days.
- brought in lunch, HM bread, & elderly cheese
(when I think what I used to throw away  ) - clean my house tonight using lots of OS methods

- supper is defrosting in the fridge (takes longer, but reduces running cost of the fridge)
- cook the last of the windfalls tonight. I made apple brandy last year- do you think you can make Apple Gin?

Morning everyone!
Looks like it might be a nice day later on!
I was so enjoying congratulating myself, yesterday on not having anything left to spend money on this month, when my darling boyfriend called with the lovely phrase "you haven't forgotten my Brother's birthday have you?" Damn!!
Anyway today;
-I'll find another job to apply for.
-Keep trying to defeat this empty sketchbook.
-Decide wether or not I can justify spending £10 on dancing.
-Have a look at selling some handmade stuff online.
-Hope for some surveys to do.
-Not have a NSD, but don't spend too much!0 -

Morning Everyone,
I'm still off work today and am bored of being ill! I can't concentrate on anything for very long - and need to nap often. I feel like a cat!
I will try to be slightly productive today, so today I will (try to):- Weed out the clothes I am going to take on holiday in January and put them in my suitcase.
- Put away the 'spare' dishes that my cousin borrowed for a party.
- Make a big batch of No Point Soup to use up veges and provide me with lunch/dinner
- Do a load of washing and airer dry
- Clear a pile of 'clutter' over the day!
- Pay cheque into bank - this involves a walk into town which I'm not sure I'm up to! (may look in on M&S but not sure I can face the crowds!)
- Save my documents on the hard drive my brother gave me - my laptop has been playing up.
Mythical - surely your BF should be remembering his own brother's b'day!
mbaz - hope little one hasn't got what I've got - its yuk!
Still chuckling at the cous cous!
Have a good day everyone.

Well today it seems to be getting a little bit more Christmasy! I've already done most of my bargain shopping for friends and family though so glad that's out of the way!!
*Charge phone at work
*Survive on £1.50 for breakfast and lunch
*Dinner from whatever's in the freezer!
*£1 payment to CC
*Opened mail from House of Fraser Card and will keep in a folder with the other cards that come so I can properly work out my snowball for this month (Haven't opened my mail for months!)
*Wore make up and contact lenses to work for the first time in months! (Next I should start brushing my hair I just don't have the motivation at the moment for making that sort of effort)
*Will organise myself at work.. there's so much I'm behind at I just again haven't seemed to have the motivation
If I get that done then I'll be really pleased with myselfDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
