Thursday 20/11/08 What small dfw things have you done today???

:D When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Today I will:
  • check online banking
  • make a loaf in breadmaker
  • swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
  • storecupboard tea
  • not use car
  • try and have a no spend day
  • cook lunch for oldies at work and eat for free
  • start checking out car insurance - up for renewal
Hi to all the regulars:D and welcome to ny new posters:D
Hope you all have a good and productive day, off to work now and need to organise xmas programme of activities for my oldies, which involves lots of parties and xmas meals and lots of shopping!!!!
Fortunately I get to go to everything for free, unfortunately I am the one doing the shopping and cooking for it all. I have booked a weeks hols though between xms and new year to recover;) ;)

Catch up with you later.
