i reckon the deliveries are checked by the police etc, they must be if you can take items aboard bought after the security point
Travelled from Dalaman 2 weeks ago and you could take water, coke etc through security no problem at all - all bags were scanned before you even got into the airport and hand luggage and yourself scanned again at the gate
PROPER SECURITY !!!0 -
This rumour is definitely just an anti-Ryanair myth and should be ignored.
Taking miniature bottles of whisk(e)y through security control is allowed as they fall within EU liquids guidelines. Buying full-size ones once through security is also allowed as (supposedly, at least) their provenance can be verified. Drinking them on board the plane is a different matter, however, and Ryanair, in common with pretty much every other airline, prohibits the consumption of self-bought alcohol. This is more to do with monitoring consumption to prevent excessive drinking at altitude than protecting revenue (it's free on BA/Lufthansa/etc. yet they still enforce the rule).
On the other hand, everyone who buys overpriced miniature shampoo in supermarkets is stupid: have you never noticed that the free ones from hotels are the perfect size to carry in hand luggage?0
