Own food banned on Ryanair: is this for real?

It's new in my local Tesco - a whole section dedicated to miniature shampoos and the likes. And I noticed it 15 years ago. It is nothing new.
Very clever. However I think you'll find that the manufacturer sets the RRP of their products, rather than the retailer. And the cost of miniatures is almost always not relative to the cost of the full size products. Are the manufacturers cashing in on the "100ml max" rules? Yes, I think it's safe to say that they are.How dare a retailer try to make money hey :rolleyes:0 -
Which is more dangerous - a pocket knife or a pot of jam?

Getting way off-topic, but I had a jar of Branston Pickle confiscated by a marshall at Headingley Cricket Ground. We had been making our own sandwiches and I pleaded, waving a rather large, sharp knife, to be allowed a dollop of pickle before he took it away. He refused, but didn't seem at all worried about the knife.
Apparently I might 'use it as a missile'.0 -
That would be a bit of a pickle than

well i've just arrived back from tenerife with my ryanair flight
which was bang on time, and a good flight.
I ate my own food on the way out and my own food on the return leg.
I also take my own minatures with me, i've said this before on the forum, but people have told me that it isn't allowed.
well here is the 2 minatures that i took with me, in my hand luggage, 1 for the outbound flight, and 1 for the return leg, i bought a small can of coke on the plane out, and used a bottle of coke from tenerife airport on the way home.
My 2 minatures in the plastic bag.
Taken after i'd had a nice vodka on the plane.
