What sort of thing do you wear for Christmas Day?

What we wear on top varies depending on what we're doing, but we all have to wear new "Christmas pants" underneath!

Usually dress up a bit, by the end of the day I'll be wearing this with slippers. This year I plan to wear a pair of black velvet trousers & a pink silk top, if I still fit into them, I'll be 27 weeks pregnant by then and I have a feeling I'm going to be huge LOL.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I love to dress up for Xmas, im the only one to do this in my family, but I say hell how often do us Mums get the opportunity? I am on a tight budget and have now got my special dress which only comes out at Xmas, a nice little black mini dress with silver tinselly stripes which I wear with leggings and little black ballet pumps, nice dangly earrings fit for the christmas tree and full on smoky makeup. I brought my dress from primark absolute bargain, but is perfect for xmas day!0

- This years have bells on because that wont get annoying will it :rotfl: Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
I always wear something smart but cosy and comfy for christmas morning, like a christmassy red jumper dress with leggings. (It needs to be practical for me to roll around on the floor with my 6 year old)
Then I change before christmas lunch, into something bought specially for the day. I don't go out much, so I like to dress up, but I always choose something which I can get away with being smart/casual for after christmas so its not a waste of money, (so no sequins and glitter for me, I keep that maybe to make-up and accesories, to still feel very christmassy!)Finleypop x :hello:0 -
Brand new PJ's on christmas eve and I wear a nice sparkly/christmassy top with black trousers or jeans. My DH wears whatever i put out for him - new jumper and smartish pants or jeans and kids wear whatever they are comfy in, but someting clean and ususally new. Always like to buy someting new for christmas or wear something that you would not normally wear. I never go out to pubs or anything all year so this is the one day i do get dressed up.You can stand there and agonize........
