  • we stay in pj's until lunch (even if we have guests round.....it's my house they take it as find it), then we get dressed usually into jeans etc and again if ppl come round they take it as find it!

the only time i have "dressed up" is when we had dinner at the pub.
due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

  • We do PJ's for present opening photos (usually nice new ones delivered by the elves to wear to bed on Christmas Eve LOL). Then we get dressed into Sunday clothes for Church. Then home and dress it down for dinner and probably a nice stroll, short trip to the park !!
  • We dress up in Christmas fancy dress. My hubby is always father christmas, but the kids and I change each year. Last year we were Mrs Christmas, a soldier Nutcracker, Snowman and Reindeer!!! The kids have graet fun doing this and the pictures look good too....

If it was up to me it would be pj's all day!

But, as we have to go out and about we put on smart clothes (dress for me, trousers and shirt for OH).

When we get home its straight back into pjs!

We do PJ's for opening presents then generally get dressed to go out for christmas dinner. The 2 children have a specially bought outfit for christmas which santa leaves, I dress smart but comfy normally trousers and a nice top and OH wears a shirt and jeans :)

  • it depends where we are, if I'm at my mums with my sisters (there's four of us) we revert back to when we were kids and open pressies in our pj's, our husbands/boyfriends join in too!!!
we always dress up for dinner though, I always like to get a new top to wear for xmas but again that's something my mum always did for us girls when we were kids and I've just kept up with tradition.

I have just bought an amazing green dress (for a party) which I love and will wear that on xmas day, a bit more dressy than usual but want to wear my dress as often as I can get away with......

    New clothes.
Pjs on xmas eve and while opening presents.
Then new jeans and a smart tshirt - I get clothes ill wear through out the year seeing as i buy them myself seems a bit pointless to buy something i wont wear again
    New underwear and socks
    And new slippers
New timberlands or new trainers if we go out
along with a new jumper or cardigan

I seem to always need new trainers and timberlands around xmas time so i buy em and keep them for xmas - again a throw back to being younger - although back then i was bought trainers or shoes for my birthday and encouraged to keep them for xmas day

Always have everything new on xmas day :)
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
  • It's usually xmassy jumpers for me-like with reindeer/snowflake/fairisle sort of pattern (not the tacky ugly xmas party ones however)
this year I think it will be the one bought from the US ebay a month ago (link to current ebay auction for the same one) Love the festive look about it.
