not yet , wait until next year at the earliest and see how the situation is
mean while ask your landlord for a rate reduction or tell them you're off
there's plenty more houses to rent0 -
How much deposit you got saved? Cleared all debt?0

I still reckon I can get 50% off peak by Christmas 2009. I've already seen 50% off some property already in the area around London where I live
Hold out for as long as possible and save. Prices are going to fall for sometime yet and won't rise again for years.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

Not now, surf the net. HPC.co.uk and the house forum on here. Should give you enough info to not buy for at least 18 months.0

if you feel the time is right for you then do it.
we are in the midst of buying a house and as we got it for £23k under asking price and we are happy with mortgage payments then now is a good time for usYou got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0 -

Asking prices are meaningless. If I had a one bed flat and put it up for a million quid, would you think you'd got a bargain because you got 23k knocked off?
You're happy with it which is the main thing but I fear you overpaid.0 -
Buy in a year or so and your mortgage payments each month will be considerably less than now plus you'll be paying far less in interest over the term ...... for the same type of house .. have patience
plus, the state of the economy will be much clearer and possibly improving so improved job security might be on the horizon...
(just trying to think of another way to say wait!)0 -
