I wasn't really curious, just thought I'd be polite.;)
I still can't see what's unique about your description.
Definition of unique:- being the only one of it's kind. Having no like, equal or parallel.
Nothing you've described tells me it's any more unique than my house which is a self build to our own specification. Lots of places are well built with fabulous views.
I thought you were going to say it was a turreted castle with a moat.
Anyway, continue to have a good evening.
PS Our road is named after a master potter who's home stood on the site over a hundred years ago and our oak tree is over 200 years old. Oh, and I once sat next to Stephen Fry on the underground.
This is boring now.
My house is unique in the way its been designed. It's different, unusual, rather grand with high ceilings and large windows with sweeping views of the valley below. It has great character; is very spacious and solidly built.
You'd need to see it to understand.
P.S. The reason the landowner built this house where he did was because it has the best views of the valley - and you can see some fantastic sunsets to the west. The actual road is very wide and leafy - and I too have a 200 year old Scottish Pine tree in my garden which has a preservation order on it.
Oh, and I've never sat next to Stephen Fry - but I've been on one of the Queen's Flights at Northolt and sat on her private loo!
Bet you don't believe THAT!:rotfl:
Well it's TRUE!:p I used her Elizabeth Arden soap to wash my hands too:A0 -

I sold at the peak, and I bought this year. For cash.
Err... this year was the peak...
And you seem to have forgotten to answer my post about what your qualifications are to advise on property, given that you've stated that the OP shouldn't take advice from those not qualified to give it, before then giving it.
However from your other posts you've at least confirmed your vested interest. I guess if I'd bought this year I wouldn't want to see property values in freefall either. Sadly however I think you're unlikely to change the global financial property market fundementals by trying to persuade people to buy via a web site forum, sorry.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. You're wrong - properties were at their peak in August 2007 - that's when I sold.
I bought my new property this year when prices were already dropping - on top of which I managed to barter the seller down a little
as I was a cash buyer.
However, my new place has lots of character and is unique, and I intend on living here for many years to come. So even if it were to fall in the next year it wouldn't make any difference to me.:D
BUT....if I did want to sell and it had fallen in price the nextproperty I bought would have dropped in price too. So whichever way you look at it I can't lose.0 -
