I am staying in - inviting my father to join the family of me,DH and four DDs to have a meal, play board games and see in the new year.
DH was given botttle of whisky, I bought 2 bottles of white wine and 2 bottles of Schler (bogof) with shortbread and fruit cake.
May bake some sausage rolls as well for later."This site is addictive!"

I am staying in on NY Eve because I just don't like it and I have not had a good year so I don't feel like celebrating - however on NY Day (which I love) I am meeting 4 friends for lunch and will spend approx £35

My parents own a guest house so we are going round there as all the family will be there, It isn't costing anything so it will be a good night. Drink, family and friends and a good old sing song.:rotfl:0

Absolutley nothing! Im not a fan of new year's eve, so im going to stay in, make a lovely dinner and watch a movie on TV, whilst organising my life ready for the new year. Thats my idea of fun!

I too am not a great fan of New Years Eve as my car was written off with me and the kids in it. It scared me and the kids witless. So I have never driven on New Years Eve again!
On a lighter note, we will stay ahome and have a laugh on the karoake.
