Told ya!
!!!!!!? is a great one for moaning at others for being personal, yet never misses a chance to start an argument. I knew he couldn't resist the chance to have a row on this thread and hence I made my correct prediction that he'd appear right after my post.
Some MSEers have PMed me to report that !!!!!! is stalking me. I think the fact he posted right after my post (even after I predicted would) tells its own story.
I just wish I could predict what the stockmarket will do as easily as I can predict !!!!!!. I guess though the stockmarket isn't so one dimensional....Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

Try being rational instead of personal.
I think we've hit on the crux of the resident 'bulls' - they just can't make rational, detached judgements.
No wonder they are always trying to drag discussions into the realms of personal sniping.
!!!!!! he is being rational and not personal.
It is only personal if you can see those traites in yourself.
You can lable positive people in similar pschological terms but most on here prefer "fool or stoopid"0 -

He is NOT being rational.
Looking at the evidence and coming to the conclusion that the economy/housing market is f*****d is totally rational at this point.
Labelling someone for being 'negative' for doing so is completely irrational and frankly suggests at some sort of personal investment in an upturn in the property market.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -

!!!!!! you have taken what he as said very personaly but his coment is totaly not personal just a rationalization of behavior.
Ithink your response needs to be toned down as it is the most irrational part of this thread.
Why could some one who posts only bad news not be seen as negative?0 -
Poor old !!!!!! is starting to lose it on the forums now. He seems to be lashing out at everyone. I guess it's because so many people are seeing through his ill conceived ideas and blatant self-interest and are prepared to pull him up on it now. His sycophants seem to be slipping quietly away (a usual event once a bully has been stood up to) and he must have less time these days to log on with his alternate logons to support himself.
He's becoming a bit of a fool on MSE these days, poor thing.
No doubt, he'll log on shortly with one of his 'sock puppets' and support himself, with a bit of 'thanks' button clicking to boot.
Tsk, tsk. so sad.Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

Be interesting to see if the doomers buy within the next 2yrs,seems some will have a great opportunity, but find something else to hinder their decisions.
Its laughable in here people want their cake and eat it,yet the opportunity is on the horizon and still complain.Official MR B fan club, dont go............................0 -

i don't think these doomers have a penny to rub together and will never be in a position to buy (not that they should, up to them really).
it's the online persona that they have created to make them feel wanted.
the internet has given some very socially weak people a platform.

"On the horizon" can be a long way away...
This is the exact point of many STRers, long-term renters, waiting-to-upgraders, being on here.
Now the long-awaited crash is here, people are trying to ascetain if it has yet fully gathered momentum. Keeping our options open, and our eyes on the news to see when things might shift, to the point where its time to make the move.
Or not. Could be another 6-12 months of considerable drops before we begin to see levelling off.
As the evidence points. And having sometimes interesting debates in the meantime.
Shame its not more than sometimes.0 -

Labelling people "resident bulls" and that they cannot make rational, detached judgements is being rational I guess
three words spring to mind - "pot", "kettle" and "blank":wall:
