Yes it is a current account, there's no dispute there.

It's only your card that is different.

And, although Solo is very widely accepted these days, there are a few places that will not. The main one being train stations. Solo is also available to under 18s as well as adults but maestro is (widely) not.

Well im back onto dear John to add that to my complaint!!! Whats the point of that then? They are useless if you ask me!

Indeed I was just going to suggest adding to your complaint. Say you are definitely switching as I believe NW do offer facility matching services...
