  • Hi there, first post in here...

Firstly would like to thank everybody that shares all the information, even though it now means I HAVE to go to boots now for toiletries etc rather than just a supermarket. Mr Boots has certainly taken more money from me in the last few weeks than ever before, they should make more glitches happen, it gains them custom:D

Can someone central London area tell me whereabouts I can get this s&g gwp for £5 on 3 4 2? I have never tried it and want to, more so at these prices:p

    TIA

:p:p Ooooh, and it's hotting up, the lovely/cute/adorable SA asked me what my name was. I was almost gonna say MIMI as I am in BOOTS mode when I am in BOOTS, but managed to come out with my real name.

You mean your name isn't really Mimi:rotfl: :rotfl:

Have you tried carmex for your lips? It is really good. or bliztex? it make your lips all tingly, a bit like lip plumper, but for boys:D x

I know this isn't central, but a nice day out at the weekend maybe - Watford Harlequin has loooaaads. the gift section is very good and the SA's are lovely there!

Oooh no ROTHERHAM LASS, chapstick made them brittle and dry, threw the whole set in the bin, think I got a 3 pack.

MEGAPOINTS WEEKEND is where you get 1000 points for spending £50. Not gonna do that again, no point for me.

I'm absolutely shattered from today's gym and Boots escapades. Now where's that SA, she should come over and give me a foot massage. LOL. I am bad!

Mimi, you should never use anything with a vaseline/petroleum base on your lips. It stops them producing their natural oils/moisture and you become dependant upon it, thats why they become dry and nasty.

If you just want a basic moisturiser that works with your natural oils just use something like the E45 lipcare or Neutrogena. The original Blistexe cream is good too.

    Hi chick!

I'd tell them to come and collect it themselves if it was their mistake?
    Maybe worth a try?

    ;)

    Hiya

I had the order delivered to my office and the men on the back door are getting a bit sick of delivering my Christmas shopping to my desk:rotfl: . I think I will keep the stuff, already started on the chocolate, and use it for presents next year.

    Hope you are well

Thanks! Never been to either of those places, I may go travelling at the weekend and hope I don't get too lost:eek:

Just used the £2 healthcare bit of the blue voucher to get £2 off boots teething granules, £4.70 and on 3 for 2. So it appears that they work on most healthcare, not just the couple of brands listed. Till didn't beep.

Also used another £1 voucher from the health club mailing (this beeped, but SA put through). Total £6.40 for 3!!

    .

Can I ask what teething granules are, please?
  • If you can get one that works, I don't think they are too bad. Mine worked for a couple of weeks and then just stopped dead. but while it was working it was OK. I don't think it would get thru anything really crusty  but for a bit of gentle exfoliation and smoothing it's not too bad, and easy to use. The batteries don't last too long though and if you press too firmly it will stop. I'm thinking one of those luxury footcare sets with a file included (use a bluey!) might make a better gift if it's for someone you don't want to be dissapointed. hth

I love to pamper my feet and have recently started using a Scholl Party Feet smoothing footfile which is really effective. They cost £4.49 and are currently on BOGO half price, plus you should be able to use a £2 bluey.

They are a homeopathic remedy for teething pain in babies. I don't usually go for "alternative" stuff but the calpol wasn't enough and someone recommended these - and they do work!

I have to agree with both of these - but the carmex tub can be a bit hard, especially in cold weather. I find the tube version much easier to apply. I'm using blistex at the minute, a stash from it being on offer in Sainsburys...
