Do I have to return all 3?
or
can I just return 2 of them for something of similar value in the 342 range?
I have never had to do a 342 return before, so if anyone has done something similar can you please help.
Silly impulse buy really because they were so nice, but just not needed.:o That'll teach me a lesson.:rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh Polls I had a nightmare taking back two of a 342-I'd highly reccommend taking the third item back.
I know that sounds daft but I bought two HSM microphones and a Lee Stafford set but found out one of our nieces already has a mic and didn't want the lee stafford stuff-took those two back and it took 30 minutes and three tills for the SAs to make it go through!
In the end I had t convince them to scan the microphone that was there twice-the logic of which escaped them for about ten minutes...
so yeah, take the third one if you can help it, hope you get on better than I didRemember to always be yourself-unless you suck. Joss Whedon0 -
Hello fellow Bootsers, I need some help please. I picked a gift tag from the giving tree today for giving presents for the less fortunte of my local community. I chose one that had 'ladies toiletries' on it which I thought would be easy and fabby. However, it seems the toiletries are for meant to be for elderly women. So you see, I am not sure this lady would appreciate a lovely foot gift set if flexibility and reaching feet is going to be an issue! Any ideas would be much appreciated! i want to buy something nice but suitable that would make an elderly lady very happy on xmas day. TIA.
My great gran informs me that not all older ladies like the gifts people tend to but them as she says they moan about getting a load of lavender, rose and hanky type gifts at the day centre afterwards  Apparently they still love toiletries though, so you could pop some together from your spare stash maybe? Shampoo/conditioner may not be good though as alot of older ladies get their hair done at the hairdressers don't they? I know my nan and her bunch of friends do.
Why not bunch together things from recent glitches like handcream, no7 gloves, jk file, facial wipes, etc?
Or if you have a cheap shop nearby pop together some high back slippers, candles, nice cup/mug etc for a relaxing kit and sometimes you can pick up things like wheat pads cheap for aching bones etc!
You may be able to put together a far nicer set using bits and pieces and they will know that it is not just some gift set that you have had lying about sibce last xmas where someone gave it to you and did not want it etc.
I did not do bits for charity last year as I was leaving my ex etc, but the year before when I did baskets for the hospice I got cheap baskets, popped bits in with lots of tissue etc and topped with a cheap metal xmas figure etc and they looked so personal yet anyone would have liked them and they cost the same as a tiny set would have done from the shopsThey were fun to do too

My nan loves the JK nail files!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0

I make up pamper packs for my local old folks home and the ladies love nice soaps and face cloths, most love spray deodorant and they do appreciate foot creams as they like someone to massage their feet for them, hand creams are also often asked for. I am just making up 27 ladies and three mens to hand in at the xmas party0 -
Hello,
My mother(72) loves all the stuff I get her from Boots - she really likes wipes, handcream, body lotion(dry skin is a problem when you get older) and I've recently been staying in a lot of hotels so have been giving her the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner from there - she likes them because they're small and not heavy(arthritis). She also like the shoe shines as it saves having to bother with polish. The other thing that may be good is pre loaded needle sets - poor eyesight makes it difficult to thread(I have that too and need my specs on nowadays!).
I think you could go mad with all the small things and make it interesting as well as pretty and practical.

Can you set this mirror on one side and adjust the angle of the other side so that you can use it hands-free to apply makeup? Is it very good or bright? I have a battery-operated travel mirror on a stand that I was going to take on a trip, but I wonder if the no7 one is better?
I bought the no7 massager (got it free with ts and pinky last month before the offer ended), but I really wanted the compact mirror that they were out of. I haven't opened the massager at all and still have the receipt, and it sounds like people don't rate it too highly, anyway. I'm thinking of taking it back to swap for the mirror and pay the 2.50 difference in price. I'm not sure the mirror is much worth it either, but if it's decent, at least it takes less space up than the useless
massager, lol.
I returned my compact mirror as it was useless, not bright enough to see to do makeup. its quite large for a compact mirror so not even handy to take on holiday0 -

Also found for her that 'betterware' do these needles that are easy to thread, funny things and can't really explain them, but she can no longer even use a needle threader well anymore, yet she found the wierd topped needles brom betterware are really great!

Thanks mdhughes03, thats exactly the kind of situation I was dreading. I thought about taking all 3 back to the store (just in case) try to exchange 2 and if there was a problem, hand all 3 back, then exchange for 3 other items
I would go for a total refund but they were bought on one of the mega points days. An SA I spoke to about it was real off hand, she said any returns from those days and they will take back all the bonus points as well. if it drops below the £50 limit (I would guess that they have had op buying stuff to get the pts and then returning them)
If that is the case its not even worth it. As I earned over £18 worth of points, on the transaction which is roughly half the value of the 3 bags.
It might be easier to just keep them and write it all off to experience.;) I'll just find a good home for them.~ What goes around comes around ~0
