Do they count Barclaycard holders as existing customers or does it have to be a Barclays bank customer?

Tried the registration but it asks for details of a Barclays current account rather than any Barclays product

Thanks this looks just right for saving for Christmas 2009, I think £15 per week should cover a big chunk of christmas.

It is. 7.49% gross capitalised monthly = 7.75% aer.

so glad i read about this account today, popped into the local branch today and opened it up. like that its not as restrictive as some of the other fixed rates accounts around at the moment
