    Evening all,

Had a busy day, two loads of washing almost line dried, done the veg and pots for dinner, made flapjack, hooved through, and then spent three hours in the gadren, I got it all cleared for winter, cut the fig tree back, raked the leaves and swept the patio, my back was sore when I finished but it looks good.

Diva, I hope treacle is ok xx

Candy hope you get some sleep, a hot milky drink often helps xx

    Taplady, thinking of you xx

    Evening
I am so late in here today, only been home for a couple of hours.

Took mums shopping over this morning and she gave me a load of washing, sheets, quilt cover and bath towels, she cant manage them herself as they are a bit big and heavy for her now so I do them. OH took MIL's shopping and washing over for her this morning.
I am thinking of starting a laundry and shopping service....only joking I dont mind really, ;):D

We went over to my friend Jo's this afternoon, to help clear out the garage, she got a bit upset at times sorting all the stuff out, especially when she opened her OH's toolboxes, he died earlier this year, so my OH sent us inside to make a cuppa and he did them.

I was so tired when we got back here I just did a MrM's Pizza with baked beans for dinner, which was quick and easy, then a yoghurt each.

OH is off out to play snooker later, so I will go watch TV,also want to finish a Preemie cardi thats been on needles for the last few days,

    Diva O poor Treacle x

    :hello: Good evening!

I didn't get on here at all yesterday so have been catching up but have forgotten a lot of what people have said :o

taplady - Thoughts and prayers are with lesley and her family and you xx

Diva - Same things for Tristan. What a good friend you are. Poor old Treacle, sorry to hear she's been fitting again.

twink - thanks for the news of PP, it will be lovely to see her back on here when she feels well enough. it's seemed quite odd without her!

wannabe sybil - hope you and Little Bear feel much better asap!

Thanks for the good wishes when I was ill! I'm much better now, just have a very annoying cough. I'm meant to see the dentist on Friday, just for a check-up, and the hygienist for a scale and polish. so I think I'd better postpone it for a couple of weeks - I don't like the thought of having a coughing fit in the chair:p

Just about to put cabbage on to cook, and mash spuds, for cottage pie. Actually I'll ask DH to mash them as it husts my shoulder. The mince has lentils and carrots in with it, so should easily be enough for two meals:T I just hope it will still taste "meaty" enough. Last time I cooked bolognese, I used less mince and made up the difference with lentils, which works fine with chilli con carne, but it just didn't taste right at all, so will try to remember to splash out on a full pound of mince next time:D

Hope everyone who's ill feels better soon!

    Best wishes

    ivyleaf xx

    Penpin,
So good to have you back, we have all been thinking of you.

How terribly sad about little Ellie and her family, I shall say many prayers for them. I bet she enjoyed your company and your upbeat personality as much as you did hers.

    God Bless you both x

Penny_Pincher! :j :j :j:j :j :j how lovely to "see" you! So very glad you are safely home again. You would be surprised if you knew how much you have been missed on here!:D I'm sure you are sick of being told to rest, so I'm not going to tell you to.

betheebee - very well said, I was so pleased to see PP back that I didn't stop to read the rest of her post, i wanted to say Hello before she got too tired and logged out. So glad your "house party" went well! We all thought of you.
