Morning all,
Very cold here to-day, not very bright either so there could be rain, washing will go on airers in spare rooms when machine is finished...only on first load, we had a houseful at weekend so 2 double and 1 single bed still to be changed....Beth would never keep up with you, five bedrooms don't accommodate very many.
Not feeling well yesterday and only marginally better to-day, need to stay on soup, fruit and veg I think to do a detox of sorts, feel very sluggish.
Mioliere...two of my 3 grand-daughters will be 4 in February and both want to learn to knit, so that is my task over Christmas as I have got them a knitting bag and needles as part of their present, need to roll some small balls of wool from my stash so that we are all ready to go!
Leaving DD4 to collect her car where she teaches, she is in college to-day and to-morrow, will try Dunnes for some shopping, they used to be my favourites before I converted to Lidl.
Taplady...so sorry to hear about your friend, will keep her in my thoughts...hugs.
Hugs to all in need, congratulations to all celebrating, welcome newbies

Thank you for thinking of me - I feel like I have had one of those huge hugs from the cup a soup advert and I feel all warmed up. Having a bad time.
Hug to all
Taplady, I will remember your friend in my prayers.
Little bear is full of cold, full of mischief and wonderful. Dear heart is working far too hard, but looking after me brilliantly and evil cat is evil. Actually evil cat is a bit below par and merely malevolent. Last night I was concerned because she hadn't been seen for a few hours. I flung back a duvet to see if she had crawled under - and she fell out! She had got herself wrapped up in a fold of the duvet and I had disturbed her lovely nest. This morning I opened the curtains to find I had disturbed her comfort yet again. I got a very mucky look.
Not much OS but last night I managed to get a tea on the table instead of getting a takeaway. I am really proud of that. Now all I need to do is sort out something for tonight, tackle the ironing, get some cleaning done, declutter, sort out the garden.... Or I could just pootle around on the internet.
I hope to take little bear out today and get some Christmas presents. My sister in law is fine with anything 40% in a bottle, so a trip to Makro may happen.

Washing is on the line as it is finally a nice - ish day.
Bread rolls are proving in the remoska ready to be baked later before I go for a dental check up.
DD(14) has a hair appointment in York tonight so will need to pick her up from school and go straight out.
The delivery from approvedfood should arrive tomorrow and have told DH that I have ordered it (several days after actually doing it).;)
Door bell has just gone and two large boxes have been delivered - unpacking them now."This site is addictive!"

Take things one step at a time WS, you won't do yourself any favours by setting yourself a huge list of things that most of us mere mortals would not complete without "having a bad time" as you are. :grouphug:

Afternoon all.
Firstly, Taplady I will send healing vibes to your friend Lesley.
Also, I hope you don't mind, I copied'n'pasted your Jam Crumblie recipe; I have some HM mincemeat, so it may find its way onto the Yule teatable.
Mustn't stay online too long today, I have a large amount of baking to do; rolls, quiche, apple pie, and cakes. While it may not faze a lot of you to do that amount, to me it's quite an undertaking, and it will take me ages, as I have to do little bits then rest, or I'll end up knocking the stuffing out of myself. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Phew
Just unpacked two huge boxes and got stuff stowed away. Tried to show DH what a good deal it was, including an ipod docking station that is also an alarm clock for £5 instead of £25 (present for DD) as well as facial wash at a quarter of the price and half price tea bags and coffee.
He is looking distinctly unimpressed!!!! When I asked if he would rather have driven me an hour and a half away round trip and spent three or four times the price he looked a bit sheepish!
He has no real clue what things actually cost or how fast a family of six (when all of us are home) can get through food, toiletries etc - but that does not stop him looking disapproving!!!! GRRH!
Going to have a shower and wash my hair before dashing off to dentist etc.
Hugs to everybody."This site is addictive!"
