Thanks for your messages. I've told my boyfriend about the PS3 now and he was over the moon bless him!

It comes with 3 games but he said he would only play one of them so I'll sell the other 2 and this should get at least £50 between the 2, maybe more so at least that is something to throw at my debts.

I got part of my camcorder prize yesterday too - the Rescue Me season 2 boxset which will go on Ebay tonight. Still no camcorder though, maybe that means that it is coming next week or something, fingers crossed.

I will post some new goals for the coming week later - I've got a bit of catching up on my AQA to do this afternoon, only on £200 so need to try to earn £40 this afternoon

Hmm, I don't think I am going to reach my target of £240 by the end of this evening. I'll therefore start afresh with some more goals to run from Monday to next Sunday evening :D
    1. Sell £100 worth of goods on Ebay.
    2. Reach £300 in my AQA account by the end of the month.
    3. Get another 3 mystery shopping jobs.
    4. Get some Easter gifts for free.
    5. Enter competitions for presents for my mum's birthday.
    6. Compile my birthday list with some useful gifts.

I've got an idea of how to get some freebie Easter gifts. I've already sorted 1 of my cousins and my boyfriend's parents for nothing. Possibly my brother-in-law too if the duck bath radio I won comes in time :D . I've got a mystery shop at a supermarket next week with £3 to spend so I could get a couple of Easter Eggs with that if the brief allows. That will sort out my little cousins.

Will keep posting on my progress :D

    Hi Emily
I admire you for your motivation but why does your family need Easter gifts. Surely they will realise you have very little money and some debts so a nice handmade card or something like that surely would be OK.
I know it is different if there is children but surely the adults would understand.

    Hi :o

I only get little gifts for my mum, sister, brother-in-law, 4 cousins, boyfriend & his parents. They are only ever small gifts, Asda are selling Easter Eggs for a £1 this year for example so it really doesn't cost that much and I have always found ways to get some freebies before Easter so it doesn't usually cost me that much at all.

My boyfriend won't need anything this year (I think a PS3 is more than enough!!), I'm going to give the duck bath radio to my brother-in-law if it comes in time (if not then a £1 egg from Asda will do) as this was free (online competition win) & something he would like.

I've got a little fragrance gift set that I won for one of my cousins and for my boyfriend's parents I've got a freebie box of chocolates (a guy just came into work, asked me if I liked chocolates and then gave me a sealed box of luxury chocs & 4 Cadburys creme eggs!!).

I can get some more eggs from the mystery shop I've got to do so that will be another 2-3 gifts done.

I know that not everyone does Easter in this way but we have always done so and I never spend a fortune on it, usually £5 at the most if I can help it :D

Wow Emily! Just been catching up - well done on the PS3 win - I think giving it to your bf was a lovely thing to do and hope you can get a good price for those 2 games as well.

My family do little easter presents too, but also tend to do little christmas presents.

Yay - just seen a freebie in the News of the World paper for a Mr Bean Easter Egg. I'll go into WH Smiths tomorrow to get that and I can give that to 1 of my cousin's. Another freebie present :D

On a quiet day at work, I have figured out what debts I need to pay off to free up enough money for me to move out.

    I need to clear:
    1. Capital One Credit Card - £940 outstanding, monthly payment: £50
    2. Barclaycard - £380 outstanding, monthly payment: £11
    3. LloydsTSB Platinum Card - £1,300 outstanding, monthly payment: £26
    4. LloydsTSB Loan - approx £1,700 outstanding (should be less if paid off early), monthly payment: £133
    5. Loan from sister & brother-in-law - £1,000 outstanding, montly payment: £50

That lot will free up £270 per month. I'll also save the £150 I pay to my mum monthly for housekeeping when I move out which will mean £420 saved. This will leave me with around £800 spare each month as a minimum (based on wages, benefits & £450 AQA money each month).

Obviously if I can persuade my boyfriend to move in with me then I will only have to spend out around £400-£500 per month on rent & bills but if I'm on my own then £800 should still cover it.

These are all of my smallest debts, obviously once they are all gone then I can chip away at the larger ones, but I know that I could manage away from home with the larger debts & still pay my rent & bills.

So, I've got the rest of this year to clear around £5,400 worth of debt

    Wish me luck :D

    HI Emily
I was thinking about you today... and you PS3 win if your going to sell 2 of the game's why not offer them to you BF for say £50 cause he'd get two cheap game's and you'd be £50 up with out having to pay ebay/paypal fee's... just athought!!
