What a sister you are! That's really kind of you. Wish you were my sister.

Hope you both have a great weekend. Let us know how it goes.

Thank you, I can't wait until Friday so that I can tell her - she'll be stunned!!

Ok everyone, so here's the deal. I'm not doing as well on AQA as I would like mainly due to working hard on Joshua's site and during the day it's not as easy to earn money on there.

I'm busy working on there at the moment but I don't think I'm going to get anywhere near my £1,500 target that I owe my mum (which I NEED to get by the beginning of next month). I reckon I would be able to get roughly £500 from AQA but that still leaves another 1k to get within a couple of weeks.

I have still got some things I can sell on Ebay. This includes the £300 bracelet that I won but I really don't think it is worth that much so I will be lucky to get £100 for it. I've got some other bits and pieces to sell but they should only fetch about another £100 to be honest.

Has anyone got any good ideas as to how I can raise the other £800 odd within 2 weeks. I'm looking for a bit of creativity here (must be legal ;) )

    Thank you

    Emily xx
  • Hi

I am a fairly new joiner to this forum and wanted to say you are an inspiration. I hope you keep up the good work.

No ideas about raising the money though. Sorry.

    Cheers

    Morning everyone

I had an idea last night, all I need to do to raise the extra grand that I need is to find 100 things that I can sell for at least £10 - shouldn't be that hard should it?? ;)

I will search around my room like crazy later on and will post with an update of what I have found. I will need to get listing on Ebay pretty quickly, will probably put some on tonight, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Say 25 things each night?

Who reckons I can do this then? :D

I have been reading your thread for ages and it does seem like you can do anything. However doens't it cost a lot in Ebay Fees to sell low cost items or you must have a lot of stuff.
I noticed you are on reduced hours due to your health have you checked you are not entitled to anymore benefits HB, WTC etc. it might be worth making a claim.
I used to work in Portsmouth myself, right across the carpark from you - I think you know where that is.

Where did you used to work? Was it in the Courts or the police station? Or it could have been that Navigator place opposite, just by the multi storey car park?

  • Well done on the 100 things for £10, I'm constantly impressed by your inovations.

Have you done the bank charges thing yet?

Could have a big fat cheque coming anyway!
