I have been rummaging around and have so far got the following things to sell:
The white gold bracelet that I won. I have looked on Ebay and they aren't even fetching £75 so I'm going to try and sell it for £50 and if I get more then brilliant = the equivalent of 5 items.
I've got a picnic hamper that I also won which should get £10.
A Zoo Tycoon 2 CD ROM that should also get around £10.
A selection of cosmetics that I won which I should get around £20 for in total = the equivalent of 2 items.
I have also decided to sell my last platinum ring as desperate times and all that. Therefore I'm hoping to get about £150 for it = the equivalent of 15 items.
A wireless mouse that should also fetch £10.
So, there are my first 25 items (well, the equivalent of!) - I'm going to list them all tonight to finish on Sunday. Hopefully they will get more than the estimates and I won't have to list as much on Sunday.
I feel like I'm on Cash In The Attic or something
Thank you for all of your messages which are a great support and encouragement.
Emily xx

Can you face grappling with the matched betting threads? I confess that I'm dragging my own heels about MB, but it does sound like a good idea!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

How about designing an A5 flyer? You can place it on the website for people to print off and display anywhere that they think appropriate - you wouldn't even have to pay to print them then!
Another idea, although it may be too expensive is NCT branch magazines. As it is a baby related charity, they may be willing to allow you to place a small add at a discounted rate - if you don't ask....7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -

That's a really good idea about the flyers, I never thought of putting them on the website for people to download. I'll sort that out at the weekend, thank you :A
Right, I have listed my items on Ebay so we shall see how they do - here's hoping they top my £250 target

I have a friend who is very good at making web banners and the like, I'm sure if you wanted I could twist his arm into making one that people could download and place on any website they have. I know i'd put one on mine

Great idea on the 100 items for a tenner - can you clear out some old stuff from friends and family that they no longer want of use ? I was gutted the other day when I found out that my mum threw out a yogurt maker  I could have either used it or sold it GGRRRRRRRR........ just a thought anyway

That's a great idea, thank you. I wouldn't want to put anyone out though so if your friend is busy then I understand.
Thank you for all of your suggestions and support. I would post my Ebay username but I know it's not allowed so I won't break the rules
