Hi Emily,
Great website by the way...very professional and looks great! The cards are very nice too
About ideas for promoting the website, could you add a small blurb about the website to the bottom of all your eBay listings? If the items you sell get alot of viewings, this could provide you with heaps of people viewing your site.
Just a thought...
Good luck with the site and your debt clearing

Have you thought about ebaying the site itself, listing for handmade cards and putting some details of the website on the listing?:A

Em, What about contacting your local radio station? Seems like the sort of thing they'd like to support? Or maybe ask local schools if you can do school-specific (ie, with the school's name/logo on the back and a note that it's in aid of joshua's fund) handmade cards, and advertise to the parents at xmas etc...?Official Debt Free Wannabe Nerd Club member 095! Hi everyone, I hope you all had a good weekend.
Thanks for all of your ideas for promoting Joshua's website. I've got the site name down in a few more competition forums and one craft forum. We're not doing too badly, we've got £116 worth of donations so far which is great.
I need to start concentrating on AQA more now though, I think I'll have to maybe find 1 place a day that I can list Joshua's website and then do my AQA instead!! I really need to get that money back for my mum so I'm up against it now. She needs it for October. I've got nearly £500 of it so far, any other ideas as to where I can get the other £1,500 from without any further debt?
I think I will have to take some time off work soon to try and catch up, I'm back down to a 4 day week next week so that will help.
I've got to go back to the hospital today so hopefully I will avoid the IV line yet again, I don't feel too bad at the moment so I should be ok.
I need to get back doing my competitions too, why can't there be more hours in the day?!
Anyway, I better get back to doing up some Ebay items before heading off for work, no rest for the wicked

Ideas for fast income (leagal of course)
Have you heard any more about your bank charges? I know that barclays and barclay card insist on giving me the runaround, but HSBC pay up in full fairly quick.Debt £5600 all 0%0 -

Of course they have to be Legal. I work for the Probation Service so I wouldn't ever dream of doing anything dodgy
I must admit that I haven't sent my letter off for my bank charges yet :wall:  - I have just booked a few days off work at the beginning of next week so I WILL send the letter off!!!! Can I ask all of you lovely people to post a reply to this thread in a week's time asking me how my bank charges reclaim is going please? This will jog my awful memory!
The hospital went ok by the way, I think my doctor is still playing with the idea of IVs but I have avoided them for another 6 weeks at least :T
