  • So basically in order to make real money out of this you have to spend time on the internet typing dirty and having cyber sex with some people of unknown origin.
hmm, could be tricky for relationships so ill steer clear.

well yes it would be, but this is why mandi said you'd need an understanding partner.

same would apply for sex texts, chatline operators e.t.c ...
  • hence why I said id steer clear...........

i might be wrong, but is this the same thing as what was on the news the other night, woman divorced hubbie over his "virtual wedding"

    http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-News/Second-Life-Woman-Divorces-Husband-After-Catching-Him-Cheating-On-Her-In-3D-Virtual-World/Article/200811215150481

    is it?

though i think the bigger crime is what they "really" look like and what they pretend they look like!:D

i have been used that way, but it's unfortunately something that comes with using a chatroom.

there are men - and women - who will use chatrooms dishonestly and portray themselves as something they aren't, and will also use them as an opportunity to cheat on their wives/husbands/boyfriends/girlfriends. for me personally that says more about them as a person rather than the whole concept of online chatting.

if two single people meet online and form a relationship that may or may not move into the real world then I would say good luck to them.

i've met many decent people online, and also in second life. people with many different reasons for doing what they do and they most certainly are not "freaks".

but then as much as people being dishonest online is part and parcel of the whole idea of online chatting, by the same token, people sitting in judgment and looking down their nose at it while declaring it "sad" is just as much part of it as well.

you can get free sex beds in second life .. you can get most things free on there if you look

    Arrrgh!

I was having fun on there earlier when the screen crashed and wouldn't move!

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling, twice, and still it kept starting at the same screen as it crashed at!

I've also done a system restore and restalled again and still I can't get it to move from the crashed screen!

    Any ideas anyone?

why is it a crime what they look like ?

you can create a fantasy avatar in second life or you can create someone closer to what you actually do look like in real life.

i knew a woman who's avatar was what could only be defined as a BBW (big, beautiful woman for those who don't know :)) avatar and she was quite happy with it.

as i've said in this thread, the fact that they got divorced says a lot more about them as people and the state of their marriage rather than what he did or didn't do in second life.
