    Good Idea Rags.
I am so mean with my gas and electric!! Well it costs such a lot and we have one of those silly prepayment meters for both. There is a bit of a debt on them but it was entirely Scottish Powers fault so I dont count it in my debts as they can blooming well wait for it!!
I found a preparing for Winter thread so did a few bits they suggested on there like checking for draughts and putting tinfoil behind radiators to bounce heat back into the room.
Most evenings we sit and watch TV by candles rather than put the lights on, I get a bag of 200 tealights for £2 so works out cheaper!!

I just checked my Ebay and Amazon accounts as some stuff I listed sold, so thats another lovely £36.35 from Ebay and £16.16 Amazon to come off of a debt. Found out as well that OH gets some xmas money in his wages on 19th so he is going to pay off my Abbey Overdraft with it hopefully, Yay!!

I checked out the meal plans thread and was left slightly in awe of the person that fed family of 4 for £20!! Its a huge post isnt it so I will go back and read through rest of it soon.

Off to post office now, not going to count that as people have paid postage so think I may be on for a NSD!!

    Chat later x x

it took me about 2 hours to read the full feed 4 on £20 thread but amazed, wish i could do it.

went into town to pay some off hbos cc and went to look in the shops, found some gorge heels in new look, tried a pair on and then put them back on the shelf!!!!!!!!!!!!! my oh nearly fell off his chair when i told him as i love shoes and would usually buy them for fun......... round of applause please:T :T :T

have managed to get all the stuff needed to redecorate ds1's room from the money his grandad has given us to buy him something for his b'day and xmas!! just need to buy the paint now. how's that for mse/dfw??!!!

my car insurance renewal price came through and its £35 more than last year???????? Oh's over time came in today so my task is to find car insurance for £150, i have 10 years no claims so hoping to get close to the amount.

    :coffee: brews up!!!! help yourself.

Not once has the comparison sight comback as the cheapest for me. Its when they have rung me they get it down and dont be afraid to bend the truth about your renewal price either!

Well done on the shoes rags, I miss buying shoes :(

I looked on the comparison site for insurance and it come up with a few when I rang them I managed to get it even lower than the internet quote was. I saved £300 on mine!!! Really disturbing thing is if I hadnt have been on maternity leave and had time to look around then I would have just renewed automatically without checking out others.

    Good luck with the hunt!
