Aaaaahhhh bless them all and their school plays, how cute.
Glad Abbey are not stinging you as much as they are me Mummy but OH gets a bonus at end of week and we are hoping it will be enough to pay it off.
Found out today that the 3 year extended warranty we paid £800 for when we bought a car earlier in the year is actually not worth the piece of paper its written on:mad: So have got to go to garage to pay over £100 for immediate repairs and then at least another £400 asap. OH has been yelling at warranty people all day but doubt we will get any joy.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

been looking on the old style board and found a recipe for lemon curd that you do in the microwave, my oh and ds1 love lemon curd so hope it tastes nice as that will save me a little money.
wonder what else i can make to save money??????????
i am also pleased to annonce that this week i have lost a pound and now weigh 11st 4oz!!!! (not bad considering i have been on a carb and chocolate binge) not money saving but thought whilst i have a diary i might as well use it for everything!! oh the days of being 9st..............and i thought i was fat then??!!!
anyway, back to money, had another nsd today but have lost count of how many that is this month. my food budget will not be so low this week as need to get all the food etc for xmas day as my oh suggested that his parents come to us for dinner!!!! HE DOESNT COOK!!!!!!!!!!!!! least his dad cant shout at ds1 for making too much noise or mess like he does if we go to his! but thats another rant entirely. and i can hide in the kitchen when he does my head in as will need to check on the food............;)

Thanx for kind words.angela110660 wrote: »Hi there just caught up with the last few days of great posts. Yes you will stick to your budget when you are debt free - you will be in such a different mindset - our budget and our life has been transformed since we worked out everything using Martin's budget planner a couple of years ago. Once you get back on track, you just can't help saving and budgeting. It was an inspiratoin after over 20 years of married life, 3 kids and living month to month. Just look forward to it.
So sorry to smarties about the job news but just try to be as frugal as poss now to hold onto some money for when it happens. Then start scouring the jobs page in the paper as soon as you can to start looking - so many people leave jobs after Xmas because having time off makes them rethink their life. Good luck.0 -
