hello
Been having a busy mad weekend! and havent been on here all weekend!! you sound like you have been nice and busy aswell.
Rags glad littleone had a good bday!
Sounds good if you can get internet banking for the loan! Both our loans (for a blooming kitchen and car) are in dhs name so i hate not being able to ring to ask questions or check amounts etc, and waiting for dh.....well i have to wait for ages!! i want him to find out exactly what we have left and if we can make over payments. At the moe if we cant the kitchen will finish in 2017!!! so got forever till that finishes! but i hope we can make over payments or get the full amount paid of till then......i hope we can be debt free before then!
The xmas do was good but was told by bosses wife there is no Bonus this xmas, so not much hope in getting one
I am sooo tired so cant remember any of what i just read in all your posts, sorry.
Apart from i need the smileys aswell!!! thats not fair lol
Of the have a little look around if i can then going to bed...

i have finally got my head out of the clouds and finally know how much i owe on my loan which is more than i thought. have now registered it so i can keep tabs on it online and found that i can make overpayments.
well have finally checked all amounts owed so no more shocks and no more guessing, my total debt has gone up to £20k but unless i go mad and fall off the wagon big style this should be coming down. updated my sig to show correct amount owed.
so i am going to pay debts off in this order, throwing extra money at the one at the top and min payments at the rest:- hbos cc @ 16.9%
- next account
- hbos loan @ 7.9%
- egg cc @ 0%
- mil @ 0%
- overdraft once all debt gone.
ok, plan set (again) and am determined. the loan is going to be the biggest debt to get rid of as was £9k when took it out and they have said it will total £14k when paid off withthe set payments!!!!! not paying that much so will be making overpayments!!!!!!!!!!!December 2018: £20,850.24. woo hoo!! its good you know exactly where you stand now!! and can throw extra money at the one with highest apr first!! best way to do it and im sure you will see it all coming down soon! I really need to find out if our loans can have axtra paid to them and will get dh to find out when on leave over xmas!
Im so peed of at the moe and not sure if its the pregnancy hormaons playing me up or not so thought i would ask you all if you dont mind!!
My mum is always going on about xmas and moaning that we dont go to hers etc etc and when will she see us..... Well we dont like to drag the kids out over xmas as we want then to be able to enjoy the time and play with all there toys etc. So we have said we are staying home xmas and boxing day and people can come to us when they want! so it was agreed that my mum was coming over on boxing day (inlaws also might but havent said if they are or not yet!) well last night my mum left a mes saying they might have to change the plans for boxing day so i phoned her and she said the reasons!! one that her husband wants to play in a charity football match in the morning and then in the afternoon the football team he surports is on the tv and we havent got sky sports anymore! So asked if we wanted to go there! But we dont want to, and also not sure if the inlaws are coming over at some point! so they want to blow our plans for football!!! Christmas is meant to be a family time and not about football! He can listen on the radio and keep up with the score etc!! oh its made me mad!!!! also if we did go there i know exactly how the day would be: step dad would play the match then go to local pub for few beers after and get my hubby to go down aswell (he doesnt want to!) then probally stay and watch football there and come back late and drunk for dinner by which time my kids will be hungry, tired and grumpy!! so not my kind of idea for boxing day!!!!!! (can you tell this is the kind of thing that happens often!! and my kids cant wait for there dinner till 7ish as they are not used to that and normally thats there bedtime!) anyway i have gone on loads!!
i think my main problem with it is i feel like we have been dropped or expected to change our plans for football!
well sorry for the rant......so do you think im just being a hormaonal one or not....GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Well Rags at least you know where you are at now EXACTLY not just guess work, sorry it was more than you expected though.
Check how much your overdraft is % wise though as I was horrified to find out my Abbey one is 27% plus they charge me £25 each month I dont pay it off now, hence it being one of my first to get rid of.
Are you allowed to make overpayments on your loan? I am allowed so as soon as credit cards are gone I will pay more off loan. I stupidly got the loan to pay off the credit cards and then, yep you guessed it ran up the credit cards again:mad:
Mummy hope the rant helped and no I dont think you are hormonal. I think it is very bad that he cannot bare to be away from Sky sports for 1 afternoon of the year. I suppose your mum is in a bit of an awkward position but even so, why should you be the one to always drag your family out on Boxing day?Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

OMG i keep meaning to find out my overdraft rate!!! im with abbey so will be finding it out TODAY incase its that high aswell........off to find out now i think.....
My mum doesnt really want to come to ours anyway as she wants us to come to hers and always does! but there is only the two of them and its so much easier and better if they come to us this once,,,,,anyway i wont go on again....
of to put dd2 to bed and then im on the phone to abbey!GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Hope its not as huge rate as mine mummy but then I have had mine kicking around for a while maybe they just got fed up of me!!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

i would stick to your guns mummy, and just tell your mum that this year everyone is coming to you and if she cant make it then you are sorry. we usually go to others house over xmas and new year but everyone is coming to us this year as cannot carry xmas pressies and stuff for ds's for the day (bottles, wipes, nappies, clothes etc) its a bit mean to expect you to do all the running and no i dont think its your hormones.
my overdraft is the highest % interest but am hoping to slowly improve the amount with reduced spending etc and so will throw money at the other debts. there is some logic in my maddness, to keep me motivated i need to see the debts coming down and wouldnt feel as though i was doing anything productive if it all went on the overdraft.December 2018: £20,850.24.
