Awww thanks for the bump makes me feel special.
Things are getting easier and today is the first day I haven't cried :T. Hubby has been round every day to see our little girl and he has found somewhere to stay.
We have the unpleasant task of sorting money out this weekend though so that will be fun.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Doodledo,
Just wanted to send you a big bear hug and to say I'm sorry to hear your news. I think everyone is right, time is a great healer and don't be afraid to vent on here at all. There is a lot of support on the MSE board.
Hope your feeling okay this evening

Big bear hugs greatly received
At the moment I don't feel the need to vent I feel remarkably calm. I always thought I would react differently if in this position but all I can think of is looking after my little girl and making sure she is effected as little as possible.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Big hugs to you and your little girl.
I split from my ex husband when my daughter was 22 months. It was hard but with good support I got there in the end. The main thing is, is that you and your ex try to keep it as amicable as you can under the circumstances.
Good luck for the weekend.DMP started Jan 09 £55,509.29  current balance is £21,482.49p:(0 -
Amyboo thats exactly what we are doing. My little girl is almost 4 so still young but still old enough to get vibes when things are wrong.
So for now we are trying to act as normal as we can to keep this whole situation as easy for her as possible.
We both have said she is our number 1 priority which is all I want.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Hi,
sorry that you are going through a split, it's an awful thing to go through.
All I can say from my experience is that I went on a spending spree to make myself feel better. It lasted for 2 years. Didn't help at all. If we hadn't split I'm sure I'd never have spent any of that money. Beware of that.
Apart from that, wish you luck, I hate to hear of other people going through it, I remember feeling awful (we were living together but not married - I lost 1.5 stones in 3 weeks when we split). All I can say is eat!

Definately won't be going on a spending spree as things are going to be tighter than a ..................can't think how to end that sentence at the mo.

... bankers wallet.
Don't forget to take care of yourself too. You won't be much use to your daughter if you don't look after yourself. Losing a stone in a week is not good. It might just be the stress, but watch you don't make yourself ill and ahve a good cry at some point - buy watershipdown or bambi and blub your eyes out. It's a good way to destress and if you are not feeling much of anything right now, you may just be numb with your emotional defences set to max.
Take care.
